Ellie's POV
I woke up at 5:30, like I normally do. I put on my hoodie so my daddy wouldn't see how much worse my bruises has gotten. Sorry for liking candy. I grabbed my phone from the charging station and sent Jason a text saying good morning. I'm happy I made a new friend.
I grabbed my pop tart from the toaster and began to ate it. Jason texted back and I squealed to myself. I smiled at his text and replied. I went back up to my room and put on some makeup trying to make today look natural so daddy wouldn't get mad.
I go to my closet and I hear a knock on my door. I turn around and see daddy standing in my door way.
"Hey Ellie, your kitten will be here this after noon when you get home from school." he says and I smile.
"Thank you daddy." I say. He nods and walks away.
I grab my outfit for school today and I go to the bathroom to change and do my hair. I don't really feel like dressing up today.
"Bye Ellie, have a good day at school." daddy calls from downstairs.
"Bye daddy!" I yell back. I hear the door close and I walk down the steps. I take a quick picture in the mirror and I hear McKenzie's car honk from outside. I decide to send it to Jason in the car. I grab my bag and run out the door to my friends car.
