Ellie's POV
I look at McKenzie who was reading over her shoulder and she tells me to call my dad. I dial his number and the phone rings. I put it on speaker and my dad picks up.
"Hey honey, what do you need?" his voice calls through the phone. "Uhm, we have this school project and we have to know what our parents do. You never really told me so what do you do?"
It's silent for a few seconds but then I hear him again, "Uh I can't talk right now, oh I have a company party this weekend for the New Year, you can come." I look at McKenzie then reply, "Ok, see you tomorrow"
I hang up and text Jason 'what does Dan do?'
