He came in the night, as silent as a mouse.  He wasn't visible to the naked eye, so no one saw him walk straight across the village to the north side.  He walked through the wall into my house, and leaned over me while I slept in my bed. He stared at me, his glowing eyes looking straight into my soul.  Then, after he accomplished the job he came to do, he exited my house through a solid wall.  He left his mark in the town square, then flew off into the night sky.
