I sighed feeling his hand push my lower back, shuffling my feet forwards down the corridor, turning my head away from glancing at any other person. "Keep walking," he demanded, his cold breath hitting the back of my neck.

"Of course." I had become so used to the walk I knew the exact way to go, walking backstage to his own secret lair where his two friends would await.

I stopped just outside the door like I'd been ordered to do. "Good Abigail," he told me, walking past me to unlock the door.

The door opened to reveal the darkened room, a lifeless pit of destruction. I waited the mandatory period of time, hearing the rustling come from within until I could enter.

"Mr Wyatt." I was pushed in the room after hearing a voice come from down the corridor. The door remained cracked open, just loud enough so I could hear what was going on.

"Nice to see you Shane." His sickening voice sent a cold shiver down my spine, the way he managed to manipulate people as if it was the easiest job in the world.

"I see that you were walking with Jessie just then." I couldn't help but sit upright hearing my name being spoken, trying to peep through the small gap, but his hand was keeping the door pulled too.

"Yes, she's a close friend of mine." I tutted, leaning my head against the wall, biting my tongue to stop myself screaming to correct his lies.

"I don't think that is really the case though Mr Wyatt." I smirked hearing Shane's voice of reason, remaining as calm as ever. "If you don't mind, I would like for this door to be opened."

"There is no need for that," Bray said, the door shaking a little with his nerves, slamming against the wall. I knew I had to keep quiet, just in case this wasn't quite the escape I had been searching for.

"Please." I heard Bray sigh, the door opening wide, the bright lights streaming in. "Jessie?" I looked up, stretching my legs out, smiling weakly at Shane. "I thought you might be here, come on." He coldly stared at Bray, making sure he didn't say a word, stretching his hand out for me to take, leading me out of the room.

I heard the door slam straight behind us, signalling the end. "Come here," Shane joked, lifting me up into the air, carrying me down the corridor in his arms.

"I'm so glad it's all over." He smiled up at me, peppering my jawline with kisses.

"I told you we'd do it, we just had to be patient, and now we can be us, away from all his weird madness." I nodded my head, feeling him adjust his grip, jolting me up in the air a little.

"I can't believe we've managed to stay quiet for so long, he had no clue, he genuinely thought that I was going to be his, become a part of his weird Wyatt Family association." Shane chuckled, leaning his head back, continuing to walk us out into the garden area of the arena.

"I wouldn't have let that happen anyway, and you know it." I nodded, feeling his arms unwrap from around me, dropping me into my feet.

"Of course, I know that better than anyone." He laced his hand in mine, bringing me a couple of steps closer so I was stood right in front of him. "I've never felt so safe like I do now," I whispered, running my other hand across the side of his face, my thumb skimming across his cheek.

"Good, because you know I'm not going to leave you now, for the rest of your life." I nodded with a smile, brushing his comment aside like it was nothing. "I'm being serious," he told me, whilst lowering himself down onto one knew in front of me.

"Shane, get up, what are you doing?"
He slipped his hand out of mine, reaching into his back pocket. "Stop," I giggled, watching his smile grow even further.

"Just don't say a word," he told me, opening the little box that he revealed, showing me a gorgeous diamond ring which Stephanie must have helped him pick out.

He let out a shaky breath, taking my hand once again. "Being able to hold you close to me is the best feeling in the world, but knowing now we don't have to live in secrecy makes it even sweeter. I never want to lie to anyone again, I want to show you off to the world, and I hope you feel the same."

"Of course I do," I assured him, wiping away the hot tear that slowly began to roll down my cheek.

"Good, because I absolutely adore you Jessie more than you'll ever know, I want to be able to protect you and love you just like you deserve, which by the way, is the whole world. I just want to be able to show you I love you, and so with that there is only one thing left to say, will you marry me?"

"Of course I will," I whispered, watching him slide the ring onto my finger. "Oh my gosh," I smiled, taking his hands and pulling him off of the ground.

"I love you," he said, wrapping his arms around my waist, my head resting on his chest.

"Good, but I love you so much more." I felt him kiss the top of my head, spinning me around so we could look out at the basic view of the surrounding gardens of the arena.

"Who knew this evening would turn out to be so perfect," he teased, running his hand along my back.

"I have no clue, but I'm so glad it has." I pulled away briefly to plant a soft kiss on his slightly chapped lips, moving back into his chest.

"Me too," he whispered, squeezing me tighter, taking my hand newly decorated hand in his.
