Charlotte Part 5 for MrLynchTEL

After everything that had happened in such a short space of time, I'd almost lost contact with all of my family. One thing after another happened with Charlotte, all incredibly good of course, and after our pregnancy news, she'd become my top priority no matter what.

However, there was one person I needed to see more than anyone else in the world. Finn. Charlotte had gone off to find her dad, and I had gone to grab my brother, gathering them both to share our big news. I didn't know how Finn would react, he wasn't really great at showing his emotions, a bit like me, but I was hopeful it would be alright.

"Bro." I found him sat in catering, watching him turn around and stand up to greet me. He pulled me into a quick hug.

"You alright?" He asked pulling away from me. I nodded picking his coffee up for him. "What are you doing?"

"We've got somewhere to be, come on." He followed behind me as I raced back down to our locker room in fear that we could have left Ric waiting. Luckily the two of us were the first ones there, so I told Finn to take a seat.

"What's the rush? Has something happened?" Finn had such a brotherly instinct, always looking out for me. I couldn't help but giggle, knowing the little secret we were about to share with him. He started biting his nails, a nervous trait none of us knew how he developed.

"It's good, I promise Finn." He nodded, slowly lowering his hand away from his mouth, just as Charlotte and Ric came in.

"I hope this is worth it, I'm missing out on coffee with Shawn for this." I chuckled walking over to my soon to be father-in-law, hugging him quickly. "It's good to see you Eric." I smiled over at him, showing him to the seat next to Finn.

"So, Eric and I have invited you both here because we wanted you two to be the first to hear our good news." I reached across and took Charlotte's hand in mine, squeezing it gently. "Well, there is no point prolonging it, but Eric and I are having a baby."

"Congratulations!"

"I'm gonna be a grandpa!" Finn walked over and hugged me, whilst Ric cuddled his daughter tightly, then we switched roles so I hugged Ric. "Thank you for looking after my daughter."

"You're more than welcome sir." I pulled away, shaking his hand, then stepped back and wrapped an arm around Charlotte, leaning across and pecking her cheek.

"How far along are you?" Charlotte walked over to her bag, unzipping it and then pulling out the baby scan picture she carried with her wherever she went.

"Nineteen weeks yesterday." She handed the photo to her father first, who quickly had to wipe away a single tear, as he saw his grandchild for the first time. I had to admit, you wouldn't even be able to tell she was pregnant, which Charlotte was definitely chuffed about, having to not pay out for a whole new wardrobe.

"Does that mean you know what you are having?" My brother asked. We both nodded back at him, noticing Ric taking a closer look at the scan.

"Looking at this I'm going to guess, it's a boy?" Charlotte and I looked each other, both smirking, then turning to Ric and nodding. "Oh my gosh a grandson!" I laughed looking over at Finn who hugged me again.

"Another boy Balor, mum is gonna be horrified." I chuckled, knowing he was probably true, she had always been outnumbered, but I'm sure the two of us would give her a girl one day.

After telling our family backstage we knew there were only a few other people we wanted to tell, our friends. I'd gone around and gathered Becky, Sami, Kevin, Bayley, AJ, Enzo, Cass, and Alexa sitting them all down in our locker just how we did with Ric and Finn.

There were so many questions being asked by everyone I couldn't help but laugh. "Are you breaking up?"

"Are you leaving?"

"Are you moving to Ireland?"

"Guys, please, it isn't bad or anything like that." I looked down and took a hold of Charlotte's hand, noticing the black and white print in her hand again. We'd already decided that I was going to take the lead on this one, excited to see all their reactions. "Well, Charlotte and I are excited to tell you all, that we are expecting a little boy." They all leaped up out of their seats, coming over and hugging us both.

"Congratulations."

"Oh this is amazing."

"I'm so happy for you both."

"Can I be godmother?" Becky looked over at us both, winking cheekily. We both laughed awkwardly as she walked away.

"Have you thought about names?" Kevin asked as everyone sat back down. I knew that I had, but I couldn't speak on Charlotte's behalf.

"Yeah, I've been thinking of Reider for a while." Everyone aww'ed as Charlotte looked over at me in disbelief. "We can't just forget about your brother, plus anything is better then that dodgy tattoo." She chuckled, knowing exactly what I was talking about, a comment she'd told me over and over again.

"I can't believe you'd be willing to do such a thing." I took a hold of her hand, taking the scan photo in the other.

"Of course I would, whilst I didn't know your brother I know how much you love him and how much he means to all of you." She leaned across and pecked my lips, as I placed my hand on her stomach.

"May I?" I looked up at Enzo who held his hand out for me to give him the photo. I gladly handed it to him, then looked back at Charlotte's baby blue orbs.

"I'm so glad our little one is going to have such an incredible dad." I took her hand and pulled her over to me, sitting her on my lap, brushing her hair out of the way of her face.

"It's a whole new chapter, just the three of us, we've come so far, but we've got so far to go too." She nodded in agreement, leaning down and kissing me softly.
