Kate's P.O.V
Diana walked in giving me a look,just cause daddy doesn't love me doesn't mean you have to give me a look telling me that you hate me.I went out but daddy stopped me.

"Kate,I-I have something for you."

"Oh,I don't care,you can give it to Diana.then I went to my room to eat my waffles."
I was reading a book on the chair eating my waffles,when daddy went in.

"Kate?"

I gave him an annoyed look.

"Kate,I want to give you this,holding up a top hat similar to his."

"Why would I want that,"

"because this isn't any ordinary top hat this top hat can tell me what you are thinking of, and what I'm thinking of."

"Why would I want to know you're thoughts?"

"You need to know something I've been telling you but could you just can't believe me."

"Uhhh,give."

He smiled at me as I wore the top hat.
I then heard some one say "I love you"

"Believe me?"

"Yeah,you may leave now."
I said throwing the top hat on the floor.
He frowned and left.

Willy Wonka's P.O.V
I closed the room and got some kind of flashback and saw the same man who tried to kill Kate,he was whipping her.She's thinking that I hate her,I kept on thinking of good memories and then I got nothing she must have taken the hat off.I sighed in defeat as I went to my room,Diana came to me as she gave me a hug.

"Daddy,I don't like Kate."

"Why not?"

"Because she hates me and you."

"No,she doesn't she loves us."

"Then why did she leave when you wanted her to give her something."

"She's having an issue."

"Daddy, how did Kate get so much books in the library."

"Because she got many books from my former workers."

"I forgot to tell you I have school this tuesday."

"Oh alright"
