Chapter 4

Wonka's P.O.V
I went to Kate's room and knocked on her door.
"Who is it" she asked,
"do you have to ask when you know it's your one and only daddy?"I answered.
She opened the door to reveal her purple room,when she saw me she hugged my legs.
"Hi daddy what are you doing here"
"Can't I check on my Katie-Cat" "Daddy I packed some things for you for our trip all ready"
"Aww, thank you Kate,are you excited to go meet Prince Pondicherry?"
"Daddy,I'm scared maybe he's gonna take me away from you" she pouted and I let out a little giggle as I sat down in a chair next to her bed and placed her on my lap
" Starshine nothing can seperate us I'll  make sure nothing can."
She fell asleep on my lap after awhile so I carried her to her bed and found myself reading a book found on the coffee table as I slowly fell asleep.

Kate's P.O.V
I woke up on my big violet bed and saw daddy sleeping on the chair (where I normally read my books)with a book in his hand so I gently took the book from book from his hands and placed it on the coffee table and placed my blanket on his lap because it was always cold in our rooms all the other parts of the factory were nice and toasty.I went outside to the inventing room to make chocolate bunny hot chocolate cup, it's an idea I was thinking of while I hugged daddy while he entered my room.I entered the inventing room and saw a worker looking at daddy's recipe cards and he even said you can't come here,
"Ehem,I thought daddy said that you can't come here"
"I-I-uh asked him if I could organize all of the recipe cards for him"
"Oh really if you asked him then why is he asleep in my room? "Yeah!why are you here Mr. Kimble when I was asleep in my daughter's room?"
Then daddy appeared and questioned him I ran to him and hugged him. The man gulped
"alright I wanted to steal a recipe from you!"
"but why?"
"because my boss threatened me to and if I don't then he'll fire me and I can't feed my family anymore."
"Then quit that job cause I'll be your boss from now on."
"Really?sir after this you're letting me stay."
"Yes because I see that you don't very well like your job don't you."
"Not really sir they pay me little slary and my wife is expecting my 2nd child."
"Oh, now get to work and report to my office before closing hours." Then he left but why did daddy let him go so I asked him.
"Daddy"

"What"

"why did you let him go?"

"Because sometimes you have to help some people with their problems cause maybe they might never solve them."
