I knew that no one would be at home at my place so I wasn't too keen on going there after my last class had ended. I had no idea on how I would spend my afternoon. I had a good two and a half hours before the Kosegruppa meeting would start and all my friends were either busy with homework or doing something else. Vilde was going to grab food and go to the park with Magnus. She had invited me to come but I had already third wheeled one too many times with them. Eva wanted to get some studying done so she was off to go home. Noora and Sana had planned to go eat something somewhere or something similar this afternoon and I somehow had felt like it was their thing so I hadn't wanted to invade their time together. Chris had said that she had a date with some guy from Elvebakken and as much as I would have loved to stalk them, I had decided to just enjoy my own company. (As always.) Isak was apparently studying biology and Chris Schistad was at work. I said goodbye to the girls and walked towards the school gates. Maybe I'd just go to a café and finish the book I was currently reading. Or better said; had started about a month ago and then left next to my bed because I was too busy binge watching "Jane, the Virgin" on Netflix. I pulled my phone out of my backpack to not look as lonely as I really was and continued my text conversation with Chris.

I bit my lip in thought. I wasn't ready to tell Chris everything about my life just yet. I just wasn't ready and he would have to live with that. I knew it was unfair since I basically knew almost everything that went down in his head but I just couldn't bring myself to explain myself to him. I shook my head to get rid of the negative thoughts clouding my brain. Vilde and Jonas had also texted me in the few minutes I was mentally absent and standing on the school yard like a lost puppy.
