Camila leaned down and pressed her lips to the bridge of Lauren's nose and when she pulled back she rolled off of Lauren into the sand beside her. "I think I want to go home," Camila whispered, closing her eyes and everything around Lauren stopped.

"You want to go back to Miami?" Lauren's question was broken and barely audible and Camila just looked at her and took a deep breath.

"What?" Camila asked looking at Lauren. "Wait, no. Not Miami, I want to go back to school, home with you, I think I'm gonna-" something in Camila's face shifted as she rolled over, scrambling a few feet across the sand so she was far away from Lauren and Lauren's eyes snapped open when she heard Camila heave, the smaller girl emptying the contents of her stomach, the pizza they ate earlier and alcohol she had been drinking, all over the sand.

"Oh God, Camz," Lauren exclaimed sitting up a little too fast. "Fuck," she groaned grabbing her head and trying to stop the world from spinning around her. "Fuck," Lauren repeated as she took a breath and moved to hold Camila's hair back with one hand while the other rubbed up and down Camila's back.

Camila heaved again and another wave of nausea took over her small body and she could hear Lauren whispering apologies and I love you's and when Camila felt safe enough to do so she sat up and collapsed into Lauren's arms.

"It's okay, I got you," Lauren said to her as she pressed a line of kisses across Camila's forehead. "We can sit here until you think you can move okay? And we'll go home, okay?" Lauren slurred her words just a bit, but she could handle her alcohol better than Camila and though she was drunk she was no where near as drunk as Camila. She was no where near as drunk as Ally or even Dinah who when Lauren looked down the beach, she could see sleeping in the sand while Ally and Normani continued to sing and laugh.

"Ally's drunk," Camila laughed and Lauren scrunched up her nose and smirked.

"Ally's not the only one, huh?" Lauren laughed, tapping the tip of Camila's nose. "You wanna go see if the girls are ready to go home?" Camila smiled and nodded, hoping she wasn't ruining anyone's night and almost as if Lauren could read her mind, the older girl leaned in pressed her forehead to Camila's. "I wanna go home too, if they aren't ready they can stay and we will go, but it looks to me like maybe Dinah needs to go home too," she said with a laugh as she pulled back and glanced over to their friends.

"Is she-"

"Sleeping? Yes," Lauren and Camila both laughed and Lauren pushed back from Camila and stood up, helping Camila do the same. "You meant school for sure, right? When you said you wanted to go-"

"I wanna be wherever you are," Camila said honestly. "S'your not in Miami, silly," she giggled stepping forwards and stumbling, but Lauren quickly grabbed her by the waist and held her up. "Sorry," Camila mumbled lightly and Lauren just smiled and looked down at Camila, marvelling in the fact that even in the dark of the night Camila was beautiful and Lauren hoped Camila knew that.

"Laur?"

"Sorry did you say something?" Lauren asked and Camila laughed loudly.

"I've literally been saying your name for the last two minutes, you kinda spaced out on me," Camila said leaning in closer and catching Lauren's eyes with her own.

Lauren smiled, a goofy, straight to the eyes smile, "Camz, you're so beautiful." Lauren was giggling and Camila was shaking her head.

"You're drunk," Camila told her and Lauren nodded her head.

"I am, but that doesn't make what I said any less true," Lauren pulled back and steadied herself and Camila on the sand. "Let's go wake up Dinah," she laughed.
