Lauren POV

Much to Camila's dismay, I made her get out of bed. I knew if we didn't soon, I wouldn't have the heart to peel myself away from her long enough to attend my classes for the day. I had just stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel over me when I heard my phone vibrating on the counter next to the sink and when I looked at the messages I felt immediate guilt. Guilt that Normani was dealing with something that was doing a number on her heart, meanwhile I had just spent my night staring into chocolate eyes and kissing perfectly soft lips, guilt that Camila and I were about to go and flaunt our new found happiness in front of her.

I pulled open the bathroom door and saw Camila standing next to the table beside her bed and quickly approached from behind. letting my eyes glance down at the phone she was staring at with a wide mouth.

"Holy shit," Camila whispered and I bit back a tiny laugh, because somehow despite the sadness I felt for Normani, I found it comical that they were dancing around one another, like their feelings weren't obvious. And then I wondered if they had felt that way when they looked at Camila and I.

I clicked my tongue and opened up my phone and held it out in front of me. "Holy shit is right," I replied, Camila turning around, eyes falling to my screen. "What should we do?" I asked honestly causing Camila to scrunch up her nose and make a noise to which I assumed meant she was thinking, trying to devise some sort of plan.

And then at once her face relaxed only to see her go into panic mode as she starting throwing around her clothes in search of something to wear.

"Camz? Camila," I said trying to get her attention. "Camila slow down," I said causing Camila to look up at me for just a second before turning back to her hazy trepidation.

"I can't, I felt this," Camila said running into the bathroom, leaving the door wide open as she ripped my sweater from her body and flipped on the shower.

As soon as I was sure she was safe behind the curtain I trudged into the room and took a seat on the counter. "Felt what?" I asked, my voice barely audible.

The shower curtain pulled back a bit and Camila, hair covered in soapy shampoo bubbles poked her head out. "Sorry did you say something?" She asked me, shutting one eyes tightly as a trail of shampoo made it's way down her face.

"You said you felt this, I didn't know what you meant," I told her as she pulled herself back out of my view and under the water.

"I felt what Dinah's feeling, you know?" She asked me and when I didn't answer back she continued on. "I felt like I was falling for someone that I wasn't even aware I could fall for. Until I met you, I didn't realize I could like girls and when I started to understand how I felt, I just, it freaked me out. I know how she's feeling, I know how scary it is, I hate that she's feeling that and I hate even more that my phone died and I couldn't be there for her."

"Was she there for you?"

"In her own way, yes, she knew how I felt about you, even though I hadn't told her until a few days ago, but she was there full force with nothing but support from the minute I told her," Camila said honestly. "She's my best friend Lauren."

I wanted to feel jealous because of Camila's confession, but before I had the chance Camila turned the water off and reached a hand out to grab her towel, leaving me no time to respond as she walked over to the counter and placed her hands on my knees, looking up at me with a sweet smile.

"Besides you of course, you're my moon," she told me and I couldn't help but laugh, my insecurity falling flat.

I hopped off the counter when Camila exited the bathroom, plugged in my hair dryer and started to comb through my wet tangles.
