Jonathan Byers, the trade mark elusive loner teen who thought no one could love him for who he was. But then you had come around, and suddenly it was all different. He had someone who loved him, someone who wasn't scared to show your affection towards him in public, not scared of all the eyes that followed the two of you.
It wasn't uncommon of you to kiss his cheek, press your lips to the side of his jaw when he was starting to get jealous, or hold his hand tightly when he showed signs of shying away from the world. You always surprised him when you kissed him where everyone could see, his eyes growing wide and his cheeks flushing pink. And for that reason, you kept doing it, kept pulling him close when he felt unsure, or kissed his neck when Steve tried to intimidate him.
Before long, his arm was snaking around your waist, nose nuzzling your hair and lips pressing down on your skin, claiming you as a part of him.
And you loved it.
