Alexa's POV
I felt bad for taking up Cole's whole weekend, so I decided for us to go to the beach. It's been a long time since I went to the beach.
"Sooooooo you and Ariana huh?" I say
"What about us?" He asks
"Are you two dating?" I ask him
"No. She's just..." he trails off
"A fuck buddy?" I finish for him
"Yeah" he chuckles
"Well Ariana thinks differently. She boasts how you two are dating and are in love." I say trying to hide my jealousy
"All the girls who've been in her place do that. They should know that when it comes to dating, girls like them aren't my type. I only stick with them cause they're an easy lay" He shrugs
"Such a boy" I roll my eyes
"What about you?" He asks. I frown in confusion.
"Me?" I say confused
"Yeah. You. I've seen you all buddy buddy with the twins, especially Jackson." He says
"Huh?"
"Lex. He's constantly flirting with you and you keep blushing and giggling when you're with him." He points out
"Well I mean who wouldn't blush when a hot guy with a hot British accent flirts with you. Plus he's funny, hence the giggling." I say
"Soooo? Do you like him??" He asks
"I...don't know." I say
"You don't know?"
"I don't know." I say
"What do you mean?" He asks
"I mean I don't know...he's a great guy and all but there's this other guy who's really got my heart going crazy." I say smiling lightly. I took a glance at him and my smile grew wider. If only he knew I was talking about him...
I will admit that my crush on Cole hasn't gotten any smaller. It refuses to leave. I mean come on give me a break, it's Cole Reynolds for fucks sake. If you were in my shoes, wouldn't you fall in love with him? Especially when he's been nothing but kind, helpful and caring to you.
"Okay. So who is this guy?" He questions
"That's for me to know and you to find out." I laugh. A part of me wanted him to find out but another part of me didn't.
"Awww come on!!" He whines
"Nope! Sorry not sorry" I chuckle
"Okay fineeee." He pouts
The curiosity in me was scratching my insides and pleading me to ask him. I know he'll say that he doesn't like anybody. I don't think relationships are his thing. I mentally sighed as I lost the battle with my curiosity and asked him
"What about you? Any girl who caught your eye?" I ask him. I watch as a huge smile spreads across his face. My heart aches when I find out that there is. I had a 0 chance with him...now I have -100.
"She didn't just catch my eye. She caught my mind and is in the process of catching my heart." He says
"What do you mean 'caught your mind'" I ask
"She's all I ever think about. She caught my mind and now I keep thinking about her." He smiles
"Poor girl though. You and Ariana are always together. She must feel heartbroken." I say
