I followed the directions from the GPS system and pulled up into their driveway.

It was late, but I knew they would be up. I got out of the car and rushed to grabbed a sleeping Griffin.

I walked to the door with Griffins car seat and knocked on the door. The door opened revealing a confused looking Jay.

"Saige." He breathed.

"Surprise." I half smiled.

"Come in." He stepped aside. I did as he said and walked in.

"Who was at the door?" Ashley called from somewhere in the house.

"Saige." He answered her. Eyeing me.

"Don't fucking joke around. Baby cakes!" She screeched when she saw me. And rushed over to hug me. "What brings you here?"

"Well I was wondering if I could stay here a few days."

"Sure." She answered reaching down to grab her now awake god son.

"Where's Nick?" Jay asked glancing at the car.

"We're done." I kept calm and held back the tears that threatened to fall. I refused to let Griffin see how much his father hurt me.

As if knowing what I was doing Ashley turned to Griffin and said "Aunty and uncle made a room just for you." She walked away, with him in her arms. She returned a minute later with a video monitor in her hand. "Spill." She ordered pushing me into the living room.

"What do you mean you're done? Didn't you just get engaged?" Jay asked. I nodded.

I sat down and told them everything, from start to finish.

"Are you okay?" Ashley asked.

"I will be."

Jay stood up. He looked upset. His jaw was clenched and his eyes hard. "I'll be right back." He walked away.

"So how was the drive?" She asked changing the subject.

"Fine. I stopped a few times to rest and feed Griff."

"How was he?"

"A perfect angel." I smiled.

"He sure was tired." She laughed looking at the monitor. I looked. He was fast asleep in the crib they had for him.

"I'm sorry I just showed up here." I apologized.

"It's fine. We were really looking forward to you spending a few days here with Nick in July.." She trailed off.

"You get Griffin and I three months early." I smiled.

"Yes." She nodded smiling, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. "Are you hungry?"

"Not really."

"When's the last time you ate a meal?" She asked eyeing me suspiciously.

"Umm."

"That's what I thought!" She snapped. "How do you expect to breast feed Griffin when you're not eating."

"I am." I mumbled.

"What? Snacking here and there?"

"Sorta."

I was pulled up off the couch by a still pissed off Jay. I was put down on a chair. "Eat. You're not getting up from this table until you eat everything." He growled.

"Yes dad." He laughed a little, then brought the phone back to his ear and left the room. "What are you going to force me to eat?"

"Vegan lasagna." She said placing a plate in front of me. She took a seat at the table and watched me. "So what are you going to do?"

"I'm going back to Las Vegas."

"Really?"

"Might as well."

"Jay said you requested time off from the show?"

"Yeah." I shrugged my shoulders. "I'm driving there and I know it'll take me some time. And I don't know if I'll keep my job."

She gasped. "You love working with the crew. Why would you leave?"

"I have a son. He needs me."

"But surely you can find someone to care for him while you're away. Especially out there."

"I don't trust just anyone with him Ashley."

"I know." She sighed. "Maybe I could watch him?"

"You gonna fly out if Vegas every other week?" She sighed again and I knew her answer. "It's okay. I've been doing it a lone for a last month. I can continue." I half smiled.

"Griffin has a pretty awesome mommy."

"Yes he does." I smiled and pushed the empty plate away from me. Ashley stood up, looking proud of herself, grabbed it and brought it to the sink.
