I'm okay.

'I'm okay.'

Those two words make my whole day better.

They calm me, they make a smile form on my face.

Knowing that those two words lighting up my screen, are from Niall.

Knowing that he's okay and not hurt or even dead.

Knowing that he's somewhere safe.

With the bright smile still plastered on my face, I unlock my phone, staring at the two words at the top of my texts.

'I'm okay.'

Sent a minute ago.

He was okay a minute ago.

Is he still okay right now.

I sigh, letting my fingers wonder over the keyboard on my screen.

What should I write back?

I have so much questions.

So much things to ask him.

I need to know all of them.

I need to know where he is.

I need to know what happened to him.

I need to know thousand things.

But one question of the thousand questions is the most important right now.

'Can you call me?'

My fingers glide skillfully over the screen, writing the words and then hitting 'send'.

I sigh, pressing my fingernails into my chin.

I'm standing in my room, at the window.

I was reading a while ago, but then I got Niall's message.

I know I should probably tell the other boys that Niall is contacting me right now, but I don't want to.

It feels like this is a moment just between Niall and me.

I know it's selfish, but I can't do anything about it.

He texted me, and not the other boys.

Does he trust me the most?

Does he like me the most?

My heart starts skipping a beat, and I bite my lip.

My screen lights up again, and I look down at it.

'Okay'

I get even more happy, feeling excited.

He wants to call me.

Does that mean something?

Does that mean he's got the same feelings as me, rushing wildly through his body right now.

My neck heats up by only thinking about Niall's feelings.

'Liam, you're stupid, friends call each other all the time, there's nothing special about that.'

I ignore my own thoughts, still feeling the happy sensation rush through my stomach.

My phone suddenly starts to vibrate aggressively, and I jump a little.

I immediately pick it up and press it to my ear, almost shouting an excited 'hello' into the mobile.

Instead I calm myself down, trying not to sound too eager to talk to him.

"Hi." I say into the phone confidently.

It's silent for a second, before I get an answer back.

"Hey Li."
