Ferocity: Tortured Souls

Remenants

Ace, Knight, and a group of the D.M.C (Dimensional Marine Corps) recons were flying to a military office building withing New Alexandria, to recover secret documents. When they arrived, the building was wrecked, and several government officials were laying dead on the floor. Ace got out and inspected the bodies, whilst the marines were checking the rooms for any signs of Azrathian troops hiding around. When the 'all-clear' was said the marines were digging through the filing cabinets, searching for any important documents to take out of the city. The boarding craft was set up and ready to leave for New Marianne. Ace spotted George in the distance, as he was making way for the passengers to get aboard. Ace just stared at George in a sense of indifference. Suddenly a flaming boulder flew past, slamming into the boarding crafts. Ace stood up and stared out at it. Ace noticed George falling off of the ship's supports, but as Ace was staring out a strike team of Azrathian troops busted into the room. Ace slid behind a wall, as an arrow shot past him. Gunfire could be heard in the distance, and Ace peeked out of cover and fired off an arrow. The marines shot at the Azrathians, and Ace crept his around them for a sneak attack. Ace was behind the Azrathians. Ace took out his knife and walked up behind a swordsman, wrapping his arm around his neck, and stabbing him in the stomach, dragging the knife up his body. Ace moved to the next swordsman, grabbing his shoulder and turning him around. He slashed at Ace, but Ace ducked under the attack and stabbed him in the neck. Ace grabbed the knife out of the swordsman's boot and threw it into another's neck. Knight ran into a group of swordsmen and blocked many strikes, and slowly took them out, one by one. Knight, then, killed three Azrathians in one slash, decapitating all three.

After this, a marine radioed in for evac, but was shot through the head by an archer on the roof across the street. Ace shot through the shattered window, and the arrow struck the archer in the ankle, and Ace finished him off with a headshot. An Azrathian assassin made his way into the room without Ace or Knight knowing about it, until the last marine was stabbed through the chest. Knight ran after him, as he ducked behind a cabinet, and Ace only heard the clashing of blades. Ace went to investigate, and they were both swinging their swords rapidly at each other, struggling to hit each other. Ace went up behind the assassin, but was kicked to the ground. As Ace fell, he threw his knife into the assassin's back, and he stumbled forwards onto Knight's sword. Knight grabbed the knife out of his back and stabbed him repeatedly in the head before kicking him off of his blade. Ace and Knight looked out of the busted out wall at the battle ensuing three blocks away. The Atherials, Lahrach's Fallen Angels, even the Birdmen were out there fighting. Ace tied a cable around his arrow, and shot it at the roof of a building across the street. Ace and Knight used their utility belts as a way to glide down the cable like a zipline to the next building. Ace and Knight ran from building to building to reach the battle, but were stopped by a few Azrathian soldiers. Ace loaded two arrows into his bow and killed two, while Knight ran in and chopped off the last soldier's legs, and stabbed his sword through his chest. 

Ace and Knight reached the  battle that was ravaging through the town. Ace ran across the buildings, shooting arrows down at the Azrathian army, and Knight was on street level, slashing through many Azrathian soldiers. George looked at Ace, before he was hit across the street and landed in the balcony of the building Ace was on. Ace went into the building and George was slightly unconscious. Ace shot three arrows at the hooded figure, before it charged at him and hit him out of the window. Ace landed in front of Lahrach, who was shooting flaming arrows at a group of Azrathians. "Ace, what are you doing here?" Lahrach said, "So that is how you greet me now?" Ace said. "Hey, your grandfather and I were a bit hateful to each other, but he did save my life from these Azrathians seventy years ago." Lahrach said. Ace nodded, and assisted Lahrach with pushing back the Azrathian troops. Knight ran past Ace, chopping his way through the Azrathian forces, and Ace went forward with him, supplying covering fire. 

After a few hours of fighting, a portal opened up, and a huge beast crawled out, as well as several hell wolves ran out, biting at several Atherial troops, and tossing them about the street. The giant beast bashed a building over, causing it the hit other buildings. Ace killed three hell wolves, and Ace noticed George holding onto one, as it dragged him down the street and around the corner. Ace was going to go after it, when a hell wolf was attacking another fighter, George's wife. Ace headed towards her, but a swordsman kicked him to the ground. Ace turned to land on his back and shot the swordsman in the head. Ace took the sword, and put it in the holster on his back. After a while, George returned, but he was now riding the hell wolf, charging forwards as fast as he could. Ace scaled the side of a building, climbing onto the roof, and shot the Azrathian soldiers out of the way of George's path, up to when George reached  the beast. George was making his way to the beast's head, and Ace was certain this was the end of this starting fight.

An arrow had been shot at Ace's head, Ace ducked under the arrow and fired back, taking out one archer, out of the group of five. The four remaining archers pointed their long bows high and repeatedly fired. The arrows arced high from three blocks away, and Ace hid behind an a/c unit behind him. The arrows were barely missing Ace, and he stood up, drawing back an arrow and firing. All, but one archer, were taken out, and they engaged in an archery duel. They both ran from building to building, dodging arrows, and parkouring all over the place. They both landed on street level, and quickly, they both got out their knives and closed the distance between them. Slash, slash, block, counter attack, slash, block, punch, kick. Repeated attacks and defense. Ace hooked a punch, connecting with the archer's jaw, and swung his other arm around, stabbing into the side of his skull. The archer fell to his knees, and Ace ripped out the knife, and kicked the archer in his face. Ace turned to see George falling off of the giant beast's head, and hitting a balcony, and hitting the ground, as the beast crashed against the floor.
