V ~New Years Eve

"Are you sure I look okay Y/N? I mean, what if your parents think I look cheap or something like that?" Taehyung runs back into the bathroom of the hotel and checks his outfit for the seventh time tonight. "Tae don't worry. My parents will love you no mather what." Taehyung sighs and sits down on the edge of the bathtub. "This is the first time I'm meeting your parents, and the rest of your family will be there too. I don't even speak your native language!" You smile assuringly and kiss his cheek.

"You learned English for them sweetie. Trust me, they love the fact that you did that babe. So, don't worry that much." Tae smiles and nods. "Okay. Thanks honey." You turns his head towards you and kiss him deeply. "Shall we go?" He nods and you two leave your hotel. You both flew all the way from South Korea to your home country to celebrate New year's eve with your family.

Taehyung and you had been dating for almost three years, but since you two live so far away, you weren't able to introduce V to your family sooner. However, Bts didn't have any schedule this year around the holidays and so, you're finally able to bring him with you.

"I called a taxi, they'll be picking us up in a few minutes." V nods and his body shakes nervously. "Tae! Calm down already." He sighs deeply and wraps his arms around you. The taxi arrives and you step in, giving the driver your adress. After about ten minutes you arrive and stand on your porch. "Okay, stay calm!" V nods and kisses you deeply. Suddenly, the door opens and your mother appears. You quickly take a step away while Taehyung just freezes.

"Oh hi y/n, taehyung. Please come in since it's very cold outside." Your mother seems to be unimpressed about Taehyung kissing you in front of her, which surprises you. You walk inside and when you do so, V bows for your mother and greets her. "Nice to meet you mrs y/l/n. I'm Kim Taehyung." Your mother smiles and greets him back. Taehyung and you take off your shoes and jackets and walk into the living room. Your father and siblings are there, together with your grandparents and your aunt. A few family members still have to arrive.

Everyone looks up when you walk inside and stands up to say hello. Taehyung takes your hand in his and you can feel him shaking lightly. Apparantly he's still nervous. "Hello." Your younger sister says to Tae. He smiles brightly and bends down to say hi to her. She immediately hugs Tae and he smiles happily. Taehyung just really loves kids.

He stands back up and greets your father. Your dad asks him some questions and after that, you take Taehyung's hand and lead him to the dining table. He sits down in between you and your younger sister, who insisted on sitting next to her 'new friend'. When all the guests have arrived, the party starts.

Your mother serves the soup and your sister asks tae if he can blow on it for her. He smiles at how cute she is and does as she asks. Your mother smiles at what's happening in front of her and wisphers to you: "I think you made the right decision." You smile

You couldn't agree more.
