Rapmonster ~rap battle

It was very dark in the venue, not that you expected otherwise. The concert has yet to start and you and your friend are standig in the first row. "Aaishhh! I'm so excited!" Your friend says while fangirling. She has been doing that ever since you picked her up at her house.

Your friend is a huge fan of BTS and when she heard there was going to be a concert in your hometown, she didn't hesitate to buy two tickets.

You don't really know that much about them, but you heard a couple of their songs and you like their musical style a lot.

Finally, the concert has started and BTS is already starting their third song. When the song is finished, Suga takes the microphone. "Is there anyone here who would like to come on stage with us?" All the fangirls start screaming, hoping they choose them. The boys look around the venue, and eventually they choose someone. "How about you? You'd like to come on stage with us?" You look around, trying to find the person they chose.

Your friend hits your arm and moves her head towards the stage. You look up and see all the guys from BTS looking at you with a hopefull expression on their face. You nod, and a guy from security leads you to the stage.

It feels weird to be on a podium in front of thousands of people, but it feels kinda great as well. "What's your name?" Jimin asks. "Y/N." You say in the microphone.

"Well, Y/N. There's a reason why we called you on stage. We want you to have a rap battle against Rapmon." He says. Your eyes grow big. You don't even know how to rap, let alone battling against a pro!

Rapmon sees your hesitation and walks over to you on stage. "It's going to be fine." He says while holding the mic away from his face. You smile and nod.

Suga gives you his mic and out of nowhere, the music starts playing. Jin gives you a card with the lyrics on it and you quickly read it trough.

Rapmon starts his part and holy shizzle he is good! How are you supposed to win against a guy like him?

Your part came and you did the best you could. To be honost, it wasn't that bad, but not nearly as good as Rapmon. You are happy that the song is finally over and you take a deep sigh while looking at your friend. She's grinning and holds her thumbs up.

"That was good!" Rapmon says when he helps you get off of the stage. "Hey eumh, do you live somewhere around here?" You nod and tell him you live downtown. "Cool. Maybe, after the concert, we can go for a drink?" Did Rapmon, the leader of BTS, just ask you on a date? Ofcourse you'll go with him! "Yeah sure. That sounds good." Rapmon smiles and gives you his phonenumber. You do the same and go back to your friend.

"Aaah Y/N! That was so good! He totally likes you!" Your friend basically screams. "It was not that good! I completely embarassad myself up there. And, Rapmon definitely doesn't like me." You say eventhough he just asked you out.

"Maybe you didn't, but I saw the way he was looking at you while you were rapping. He totally likes you."

The concert ends and you drop your friend off at her house, you just park your car in front of a Starbucks that's, surprisingly, still open to buy a coffee, when your phone rings. You take your phone and look at the name. Rapmonster.

You pick up the phone and say hello. "Hi, it's me, Rapmon. I was wondering if you are busy?" "Hi, no I'm at Starbucks why?" It's silent for a few seconds and you hear stumbling coming from the other side of the line.

"You mean the Starbucks in the middle of the village right?" "Yeah the one next to the Superdry shop." You answer. "I can see it from my hotel room. Is it okay if I drop by?" While he asks that you can hear something weird from his voice, it sound like, like hope and worry mixed together.

"Ofcourse! I'll save you a seat." "Thanks Y/N. I'll be there in a few minutes." "See you soon Rapmon." And with that you hang up and walk into the Starbucks shop.
