Izeiah's Pov

I turned around and saw Ivan shaking his head in disappointment. My mouth fell open at the sight of another person going to witness a crime I'm about to commit.

Honestly, I don't feel confident now that I see Ivan glaring at me. Making sure I catch the disappointment flashing through his eyes.

"Why have you gone silent? Surely, you didn't go mute, sweetheart?"

"......no" I uttered in the smallest voice I could muster.

"Then, why are you not answering me?" Is this sarcasm? I can feel the sarcasm. It's probably sarcasm. Definitely sarcasm.

Gahd, I hate that I ended up in jail. -_-

Hindi sana mapupunta ang buhay ko kung saan ako ngayon.

...bakit ba ako natatakot kay Ivan in the first place?

"I am not entitled to follow you around, Ivan." I stated as I tilted my head to the side. Now wondering what kind of identity is he using to bring me such intimidating feelings.

Ivan frowned and didn't talk for a whole minute. He just stared at me and that was it.

"Is my Izeiah finally growing up?" I heard him whisper something, but I couldn't quite catch it.

"Ivan??" I called out.

"Yes, sweetheart ?"

"So???"

"What?— not entitled to follow me around,.. huh? You used to depend on me to take you out."

"Ano ba ang sinasabi mo? Hindi ko marinig"

"Wala. Let's go inside, mas lalo pa tayo mawalan ng tulog kung hindi mo bilis bilisan ang galaw mo."

Ayaw ko talagang sabihin ito dahil baka magalit si Ivan pero wala akong choice.

I pouted.

"Ivan, kailangan ko ng baril.... wala akong dala. Seryoso ako." Sinundot ko siya sa tagiliran kaya napatingin siya saakin.

"Now, why the bloody hell would you not bring your gun when you plan to assassinate a whole headquarter. Sweetheart, hindi ka immortal."

I pouted even more and couldn't find an argument against his statement.

"I-I did plan, but—but, I i forgot. Not kidding."

He sighed again in disappointment.

This was the price of hanging out with me.

So he shouldn't blame me.

"I did bring an extra, however it turned out to be empty."

"This is why you will not be in Santa's List this year. You are refusing to lend a friend a hand." I frowned as I accused him.

"I don't have a friend to lend it to. What are you talking about?" He snorted as he glanced at me.

My mouth fell open and my shoulders sagged.
