I pull up to one of my secret houses. I take the girls out of the car. Semira comes out and the girls goes running out to her. "Mommy people shooting at us at the park n daddy saved us," Olivia said jumping into her arms

"I'm glad you guys are safe. Now into the house there's ice cream on the table and you cousins are inside waiting for you guys," she said

"Yeah," they both scream running into the house

She looked angry at me and I did nothing wrong. I start to wake inside the house and she stopped me. "What the heck is going on? Why are people trying to shot you! Should I be worried of having me and the girls around you. Are we in danger too," she asked

"Baby claim down I'll answer all your questions once we get inside and in my office," I said

"When did we get this house," she asked

"Inside now," I demanded

All her questions was starting to irritate me. I wish she would just shut up. She follows me to my office.

"Take a seat," I motion to the chair in front of my desk. I walk to my chair

"I'm not sure how your going to take this. I've never wanted part of this family business. When we met I was doing my own thing going to school and had my own job. Do you remember that job I had at the student union," I asked her

She nodded her head.

"Well that day I got into a fight with this guy that knew who I was. I didn't want it to get back that I didn't have any bodyguards around me our that your my girlfriend. Baby I was trying to protect you," I said

"Please continue," she said

"Well my family is part of the mafia. My father wanted me to take over it when he retired. I wanted nothing to do with it so I ran and changed my name. I'm using my mothers maiden name and I thought no one was going to find me," I said

"Are we safe and why did you bring my sister her," she asked

"They know you exist and might go after your family. I'm having Ana and her family all brought here in the next hour or so. I'll explain everything to them when they get her," I said

"I'm going to check on the girls to make sure their okay," she said getting up.

"Don't tell them any of what I told you," I said.

"Do you think I'm that stupid! I might not remember the girls or having them. But their our babies and I'll protect them," said before kissing me than leaving the room.

That's why I love her. I'll make sure she doesn't find the rest until I'm ready to tell everything yet. I'm afraid she will not forgive me. It's a good she doesn't remember why I left her. If I knew she was pregnant I think things would have changed.

Later that night night that they got the person that tried to killed my family and I. I had to wait tell Semira and everyone to wait until I head to the basement. I had make sure that I handle everything.

"I'm not going to ask you again who set up this hit if it wasn't you," one of my man asked

"You can kill me but I won't say a word," the guy spat

I wake into the room and everyone to leave the room. This guy has messed with the wrong person.

"You might not care if we kill you but your wife and kids wouldn't to see it. I have someone heading to your house now," I threatened

"No! You can't do this to my kids my family. They have nothing to do with this," he said with fear in his eyes

"Just like my girls have nothing to do with this. But you tired to kill them," I said putting my hands around his neck

"He threaten to kill my family if I didn't kill you," he said

"Tell me everything you know and I'll protect your family," I said

"Well! I was leaving work one day. These to guys grabbed me and took me to this warehouse," he stopped

I Motion my hands for him to continue.

"I was in this room for hours tied to this chair. I'm really a good guy but when some threaten my family I had do what they said. I didn't want to harm anyone. That's why when I was shooting I made sure I missed. Sir really I didn't mean any of this to happen," he said

"I'll protect you and your family if you tell me who is trying to kill my family," I asked

"You know him and his close family. He said you took this from him and you never wanted this," he said

I thought about it. I had no close family around they all died. Who could it be that's trying to get rid of me! Whomever it is will be dead when I get done with them.

Phone ringing. "Speak", I say

"Boss we just picked them up," Sal said

"Let me know once you get them to a safe location," I said

I pace the room before I speak to him. I would have done the same thing to protect my family but I think I would have killed them and probably enjoyed it. I'm only his life cause he spared my family.

"Your family is safe and being moved to a safer location. Once they get there I'll have you taken to them," I said letting him free

"How can I repay you," he said

"Will talk about that at a later time," I said walking out the room and running into Semira and she looked pissed as fuck. I hope she didn't hear
