"Let us break up," I told him.

"Sky--"

I didn't let him have an opportunity to speak any further. I cut him off, immediately!

"Jared, listen! We should end this fucking relationship!" My voice rose. Sana umoo na siya kaagad.

"Skylar, this is nonsense! Did they forced you to break up with me?"

"Nonsense?! It is our relationship that's absurd! And they didn't force me to break up with you. Desisyon ko 'to!"

He didn't respond.

I breathe. Humugot ako ng lakas para sabihin ang mga ito. "Red, I've realized something. This relationship is ridiculous. This relationship is forbidden. This is toxic! We are too young for this. The two of us are just two people who were ignorant enough. We were just two people who misinterpreted our feelings as love. We don't even know what love is."

"I love you, Sky--"

"No. I mean not in that kind of way. We may love each other but only as cousins. This is all just a misinterpretation!"

"Do you really think this is all just a misinterpretation?!" His voice rose in rage.

"Yes, this is all just a misinterpretation!" I yelled. "I realized that I actually don't have any romantic feelings for you! This is just mere admiration. Infatuation!"

"I am not believing all these. Alam kong salungat iyan sa kung ano ang nasa kalooblooban mo! Sky, this feelings we have are real. We didn't misinterpreted this," he said, pleading.

"Don't believe if you don't want to! I am not lying. Totoo itong sinasabi ko hindi kita mahal!"

"Skylar, we can still be together."

"Tama na, please. Ayoko na! This is toxic! Bawal itong relasyon natin. Mag-break na tayo! Magiging komplikado lang ang lahat kung ipagpapatuloy lang natin ito!" I bit my lips. I can't take this. Sasabog na talaga ako!

"Sky, I can fight for you," he said.

"I'm sorry, Jared but I can't." I can't fight for you because I'm weak. "Let us stop this already! This is for our good, anyway."

"Sky--"

"Wake up, Jared! Wake up! Ayoko na. Hindi kita mahal. Tumigil na tayo sa kahibangang ito! Our relationship is over."

I hung the phone. Nanginginig ang buong katawan ko at doon na pumatak ang mga kanina pang nagbabadyang mga luha. I could barely breathe. Naninikip ang dibdib ko.

Isinauli ko ang phone kay Krypton. He protectively hugged me.

"I can't believe you could pull that off, though," aniya sa akin.

"Krypton, ang sakit," I said in between sobs.

"But it is for your good, Sky. That is just the right thing to do," he told me.

I feel drained. Pakiramdam ko naubos lahat ng enerhiya ko sa ginawa ko kay Jared kanina.

I can't even utter a single word.

"Sky, tahan na." Krypton comforted.

Isang oras rin siguro ang ginugol ko sa kakaiyak lang. Pakiramdam ko naubos ko na lahat ng luha ko at sumasakit pa ang ulo ko sa kakaiyak.

"Magpahinga ka na lang muna, Sky," sabi ni Krypton.

I listened to what he said and took a short nap.

Hapon na siguro nang magising ako.

Si Mama agad ang nakita ko.
