Chapter 46

"The Tiger's Fate"

ANNA'S POV

"Your name is Satoshi?" I asked. (Japanese)

Yojinbo-ichi bowed at me. "Yes, Anna-san, my name is indeed Satoshi." (Japanese)

"I was not aware your name is Satoshi." (Japanese)

"You call us as your guards followed by numbers since you're a child, Anna-san." Yoh said. (Japanese) "we understand if you don't know our names."

I looked at him. "I call you as Yoh, though." (Japanese)

"It is fine by me, my name is actually Yoshibara." Yoh smiled. (Japanese)

I blinked. "Really?" (Japanese)

I was shocked. I never knew their names until now. I never bothered knowing their names, anyway.

Yojinbo-ichi, who is now Satoshi, bowed at me, before he moved his watch aside to let Daniel see his tattoo. Yoh lifted his head to the direction of Satoshi. He gasped as soon as he saw Satoshi's three pointed star flickered in the dim light. My guard hid it as soon as he is certain Daniel saw it.

My guards are really swift.

"N-No..." Daniel struggled to voice out. "no...way. You're...you're my superior?"

Yoh grinned that sneaky evil grin, like he's planning something wicked. With one look from Yoh, all of my guards lifted the random thing that they used to block the mark ー since all of them are wearing those colorful hawaiian shorts and shirt, they have no long sleeves to hide it.

They let Daniel see their mark.

It was all three.

Daniel looked as though he's about to crap his pants.

"Do you get it now?" Yoh asked. He was still grasping Daniel's head. "you just made a very bad move, and it risked your brother's life, and now your life," Daniel groaned when Yoh smacked him on the cheek. "do you know how grave your earlier action was? Huh? We could kill you this instant, but doing that is a kind thing to do to someone with misplaced guts like you," He grabbed his afro to tilt his head up his favor. "maybe we'll start by disecting you and putting all your guts back in their original places."

"Yoh," I called out.

Yoh, and Daniel looked at me.

I didn't say anything, but he seemed to understand me.

"Anna-san," Yoh bowed. "we will explain everything later. We are doing this to make that urchin see how disrespectful he was to you."

He spoke in English this time, so Daniel reacted.

"You know this girl?" Daniel pointed at me.

Yoh kicked him in the stomach. "Respecting your superior can save your life, boy."

"Don't hurt him furthermore," I said as I looked at Daniel who is gasping for his life. "don't even think of killing him. Losing his only family is painful enough."

Yoh and my guards bowed as though they understood what I'm trying to say. Then I looked at Satoshi when he bowed before me.

"I'm sorry, Anna-san," He said. (Japanese)
