Chapter 5: ➣ Dead Duck! I'm A Dead Duck!

Start from the beginning

Dang flabbit!

"For starters, go make breakfast," He murmured thoughtfully and my eyes instantly widened.

"You mean....c-cook?" I spluttered, god I hate doing that. Last time I did, I gave someone food poisoning. As much as I'd love to food poison Xavier right here, I don't want to be held against the death of over 50 gang members. "I can't cook,"

"Well, we have chefs, go learn,"

I gaped at him. He's so mean! "I'm not learning to cook," I replied stubbornly crossing my arms over my chest, "And if you have chefs, wouldn't the wise idea be to let them cook. You know, 'CAUSE THEY'RE CHEFS?!"

"You doing it again," He muttered, a dark smirk wiping across his work of art features. Something about his aura seemed a little malice, but I brushed it off as nothing, It's Xavier, he's a demon in disguise anyways.

"Doing what?"

"Testing me." He gritted out huskily. Or that was just my imagination before I could open my mouth and scoff something back, he was right in front of me. Face to face, his hot breath fanning against my face as he was literally breathing on me. "Don't do it again!"

So. Freaking. Close.

I squeaked at the sudden closeness, afraid he was going to smell my city-killing morning breath and lifted my hand to cover my mouth. Complying that I was clutching myself at the edge of my bed, I lost my balance and collapsed onto the ground, straight on my ass.

"Get up, you're cleaning all the rooms down the hall," He told me briskly before gracefully pushing himself out of my bed to straighten up. With one final look at my garbage bag look, he spun around, making his way towards the door.

"No way!" I winced at my butt bones were throbbing at the impact, "I can't clean to save my life,"

He cast me a stone cold look from over his shoulder, "Well then you better learn,"

My jaw hit the ground at how much of an asshole Xavier could actually be. I should've known, he as the sick bastard that kidnapped an innocent duck in the middle of the night!

-----------

My fingers were stiff. My legs were staggering in pain. My back was killing me and I was going to wither to the ground like a potato sack any second now. But I've only clean one room!

This was horrible torture.

I groaned in annoyance, leaning myself against the wall of the hallway I was assigned to clean. Xavier forbid everyone from coming to this wing of the mansion until I was done and he was satisfied. Asswipe.

Natasha was apparently sent to pick something up along with Jason and Gabe and the rest of the gang don't dare go against Xavier to assist a poor duck.

Clutching the broom for dear life, I staggered along to the next room. In hopes, it would be cleaner but to my horror, it was worse. It had finally come to my attention that the asshole gang leader had made me clean the hallway that had all the guys rooms in.

I hate him so much.

"Stupid Xavier. That stupid, built...hot... ASSHOLE of a gang leader!" I muttered under my breath, placing down the broom and wash cloths. I'm going to need more garbage bags to clean this mess.
