The Broken Boy

Waking up feeling a empty bed I sighed speeding home changing clothes bumping into Stefan walking down the Stairs.

"Where are you going?" Stefan asked.

I looked at him and he sighed nodding. "Yeah me too." He sighed. "Come on Ill drive." he said walking outside getting into his cherry red car.

Sitting down I smiled relaxing. I always loved his car. "How did last night go with Elena?" I asked.

"How did it go with Jeremy?" Stefan asked changing the subject.

I rolled my eyes. "Very funny. Talk." I smirked as my phone started ringing.

"Cleo!" Rebekah shrieked.

I gasped. "Bekah. Oh god your alright where have you been?" I asked.

"My mother possessed me. And Alaric just nearly killed me." She shrieked.

I went wide eyed. "He should be.."

"Dead? Yeah I heard. Well he is alive and cant be killed by white oak!" She shouted.

I gasped. "He has a white oak stake that could kill us all!" She said.

"Go to The house. Ill meet you there." I said hanging up as we pulled up to the Gilbert home.

Stefan didn't bother to listen in. He rushed inside and I followed him inside. Walking upstairs I saw Elena and Jeremy holding paintbrushes.

"We're fine. But, if you are trying to be the good guy again, why don't you do the right thing and give us one day, just one day without any vampires in it." Jeremy said walking out of the room bumping into me.

Jeremy's eyes widened. "A day with no vampires huh? You got it." I sighed turning around walking downstairs.

"Cleo wait!" Jeremy said.

Stefan turned around and I shook my head speeding away.

I was about a block away when Klaus grabbed me.

"Hello Love. Thank goodness I ran into you. I'm leaving now. I'm on my way to get Elena. Come with me." Klaus said stepping closer.

I shook my head. "You cant run. You shouldn't run." I said.

"Will you or will you not come with me?" Klaus shouted.

I gasped. "Klaus! Stop!" I shouted feeling my heart pounding.

Klaus stepped back seeing he has me alarmed. He looked down sadly looking up at me tears filling up his eyes. "Fine then." he said.

"Nik wait I didn't-" I said stepping closer when he vanished.

I stepped forward looking around. What did I just I do?

I pulled out my phone calling Rebekah. "Hey. Where are you?" she asked.

"I have to go after your brother. You stay somewhere safe. I'm sorry." I sighed.

Rebekah sighed. "I get it. Save the wayward brother. Ill see you later be safe." Rebekah said Hanging up.

I speed off to the Gilbert home seeing Klaus throwing a white picket fence post into the Gilbert home.

Speeding I grabbed Klaus just as Damon threw a stake hitting me in the stomach. I gasped falling onto Klaus as he held me on the porch.

"Love what are you doing?" Klaus asked shaking his head pulling out the stake.

Stefan came poking his head out. "Damon you hit Cleo." Stefan mumbled.
