Am I a creep for liking someone younger?

Hey Alex. Lol three times a charm. Anyway, I have a problem. (Obviously. I'm just pointing out the obvious) ok. So, I took your advise about the boy who likes me to ignore him. He stopped, but he still talks about me. (I gave up) So, I recently met this boy I've seen in a summer camp 3 years ago. I'm in 7th grade and he's in 6th. I ended developing a crush on him because 2 teachers called us love birds and we'd make a PERFECT match. (Since I'm not into love, me being me I screamed ew gross) my best friend asked me who I liked. All I said was he was in 6th grade. She was like OMFG Q! You like a 6th grader!?!(Let's say my name is Q) I said I was just joking because I didn't want a rumor going on about me. The same day, a boy asked me who I liked. I said I liked a 6th grader. (I seem to not learn my lessons D: ) He called me a creep and said I have problems. So I said I was joking. My question is, am I a creep for liking a boy a year younger? It's driving me insane! I wish he could skip a grade or something. :/ I guess we all can't get what we want

Honestly. You are not a creep and from what I know from experiences is that it's okay to like someone younger than you as long as they aren't too young. If your in middle school then dating someone from middle school is fine just like high school. Honestly whats the difference of you dating or liking a guy a year younger compared to a guy liking a girl that's one year younger and stuff. It happens and you can control who you like. Don't listen to them. They honestly are closed minded and you shouldn't have to deal with the closed minded people. Just do you and don't be ashamed for liking someone just a year younger. I mean come on, a year? It's not much of a age gap v.v
