"Hey mom should we be worried?" Kari asked Valka as they were flying back to Berk after relocating a flock of dragons that had been bothering the Outcasts for a while.

"No, why dear?" Valka asked noticing the worry in her daughter's voice.

"Because there's a a Berserker armada right on Berk's shores!" Kari said pointing ahead. Valka gasped when she saw the fleet and tugged on Cloudjumper's crest to have him fly up into the clouds.

"Kari where are you going?" She called when Kari dove down instead of following her.

"To ask their chief what's going on!" Kari yelled back.

She and Striker flew over the boats till she found the one she was looking for. Striker landed on the figurehead of the boat and gave a loud roar and startled the crewmen.

"Where is Dagur, I wish to see him." Kari asked drawing her sword out.

"I'm right here." A familiar voice from the shadows. And out of them stepped Dagur.

He wore a different set of armor over a simple short sleeved dark brown tunic and a pair of black leggings and a pair of boots that looked very worn out and a fur cape that looked like a bear skin. More tattoos encircled his bare arms and had a set of leather bracers that had some sort of engraving in them. His hair was now all short and choppy looking held back with a leather headband the way she and Astrid used to hold their hair back. But what startled Kari most of Dagur's new appearance was the jagged scar he had on the right side of his face, to her it looked like a dragon had gotten him there on the side of his face in a fight.

"Step into the light, I wish to see you." Dagur said beckoning her to come forward.

Kari reluctantly climbed off Striker and stepped into the torchlight for Dagur to see her. She could see a flash of surprise on his face when he was it was her. No surprise there since she had changed as well. Her hair was now more longer almost to her waist in a knotted braid, she was more leaner with some muscle from wrestling with dragons and Vikings (mainly Snotlout and Astrid and most of the time the twins). She wore a skirt similar to her mother's with a dark blue tunic and leather shoulder pads and a pale brown and white fur hood and knee pads on her brown leggings, leather bracers that went almost to her elbows with encarvings from the times she had used them to block Snotlout's attacks during sparring.

"Well what do you want Dagur?" Kari asked putting her hands on her hips. "And close your mouth, you'll catch flies." Dagur's mouth snapped shut and he scratched the back of his head.

"Well I came to see you, your brother and your father obviously." He said glancing up at Berk. "Oh look Hiccup's here.

Kari didn't need to turn around to see who landed behind her. She felt Toothless' head rub her arm and heard him give a small purr. She placed her hand on his warm black head and smiled a bit at him before turning back to Dagur with a frown. Hiccup walked over to his sister and took her hand in his.

"What do you want Dagur?" He asked. "If you want another war I am warning you we will win this one again."

"Oh I don't wish to fight you. I came here for a different reason." Dagur said as one of his guards handed him a scroll. "You remember what our father's told us what was to happen when your sister came of age right?"

"Yeah I do but apparently according to Gobber, my father and your father terminated the deal nine years ago because my father was worried you would hurt my sister." Hiccup said folding his arms over his chest. "So if you are here to claim my sister, I'm afraid that isn't happening."

"Read this then." Dagur said tossing Hiccup the scroll. "I actually have the right to claim her as my bride."

"Let me see that." Kari said taking the scroll from her brother and reading it. Her eyes widened in shock and looked at Dagur in horror. "How do we know this isn't forged?"

"It's official Kari, this is Oswald's handwriting. Look how old the paper is and how faded the writing is." Hiccup said taking the scroll back and examining it closely. "It says that you and Dagur shall not marry until he has changed his ways."

"And I have changed." Dagur said stepping to them. "I don't kill dragons for sport anymore, only if they try to kill me and I have no choice but to kill them."

"I am not doing it." Kari said snatching the paper from her brother and crumbling it into a ball. "I will not ever marry that man! He has ruined my life enough already!" And with that, she flung the crumbled scroll at Dagur and leapt onto her dragon.

"Kari wait!" Hiccup called, but it was too late. His sister and her Skrill had taken off into the skies and into the clouds. "Oh great, now it's gonna take her hours, even days to get her to calm down."

"I'll go look for her." Dagur offered.

"How? You don't even have a dragon!" Hiccup pointed out.

"That is where you are wrong brother." Dagur said with a small smile. He gave a loud whistle and out of the ocean jumped a Shockjaw with a saddle on it's back. Dagur used his cape to dry off the saddle and climbed onto it. "Let's go boy, follow that Skrill." The Shockjaw gave a roar and took off into the night sky.

"Should we tell him that's a bad idea?" Astrid asked landing Stormfly next to Toothless. "Because the last time someone went after her to talk to her when she was in that mood ended up in the infirmary for a week."

"Well Dagur is probably gonna end up worst than Snotlout, probably gonna be in the infirmary for a month or two or she may even kill him." Hiccup said with a sigh before climbing onto Toothless. "We better go find them before Kari probably kills him."
