"Goodnight dy." I muttered when I tucked him in his bed. I was about to turn off the lamp when he spoke in a low but frolic tone.

"He's good for you Love. Chance, he's good for you." He whispered softly, evidently too tired to speak. It's his meds kicking in. I brushed his hair using my fingers before answering.

"Dy, that guy isn't good for anyone. He's arrogant, self-absorbed, narcissistic, manyak. The list goes on." I exclaimed quietly with a sigh.

He took my hand and gently tapped it with his, "But he makes you smile and laugh and cry and angry. It was a constant smile and it never changed. The diversity of emotions Chance makes you feel are the things that you forgot without even noticing. Give that man a chance Love. Give Chance a chance." But whenever we have one, it really hits me hard. Napailing na lang ako, he needs to know why Chance and I can't be together.

Give Chance a chance. Why would I give him one if he never asked for it? He's just here to annoy the living hell out of me.

When I got back to the kitchen he wasn't doing the dishes anymore. He was holding a screw driver while sitting on the floor infront of my dishwasher. He pressed the on button and it lit up. He fixed it. He fixed my dishwasher. He smiled dearly at me, "I fixed it. Hindi mo na kailangang ipaayos Love. I took care of it." Masayang tugon niya. He wiped his sweat and stood up before dusting himself off. "Saan mo nakuha 'yan?"

He answered with a shrug before he sat down on one of the chairs. He just gaped at me while grinning. "Actually I was thinking of just throwing the damn thing out and buying you a new one.

"You can't just go into someone else's house and just throw their dishwasher away. It's not morally correct." I tried to be nonchalant about what he did but I can't. I'm secretly happy that he fixed it. "What do you want to have as a snack?" I offered while rummaging the fridge for some food.

"Your house is way too big for two people. He rather said, dropping what I asked him. I hastily turned my head and glowered over him.

"Stop calling dy 'dad'. He's not your dad kaya pwede ba." "So ano ngang gusto mong kainin?" I asked again, a little pressing this time so he would listen.

But he still didn't mind what I was asking. "Wala kayong maid?" I'm not gonna win. This guy has his own world. I sighed heavily before drawing out two pieces of dragon fruit from the fridge. "Wala.
