Daddy eventually got better so we got off at six o' clock. Cube insisted of convoy-ing us home to aid his conscience. Kasalanan niya raw kung bakit na-ER si dy kaya ihahatid niya raw kami pauwi.

"So, where should I put this?" Tanong sa akin ni Cube nang nakapasok na kami sa bahay. Bitbit niya kasi ang paper bag ng mga gamot ni daddy na dinaanan namin pauwi. Actually, he was the one who bought the meds. Pinagtalunan pa naming dalawa 'yon hangga't sa inawat na kami ni dy, uwing-uwi na raw kasi siya tapos nag-aawag pa kami.

"Pakilagay na lang diyan sa may mesa." I answered while pointing the coffee table using my lips. He nodded his head and said nothing more, which is alittle bit disturbing because you know Cube; he hates being ordered around.

I assisted daddy on one of the sofas before turning on the AC. I was about to bid Cube goodbye but he surprised me by cozying himself up on the single seater sofa beside dy's recliner. "'Di ka pa aalis?" I asked while I raise my brow. He just smiled at me. Sweetly, damn captivatingly sexy. "Nag-order na ako ng makakain. I don't mind eating dinner here." Napakunot ako ng noo. He invited himself in without consulting me. He even ordered food. I know I sound like an ungrateful bitch pero hindi niya naman alam ang pwede at hindi pwedeng kainin ng tatay ko. "Dapat sinabihan mo muna ako Cube-"

"It is Chancellor for you, Love." He said stopping me mid-air. I felt myself growing a monobrow while glaring at him while all he did was to smirk me at me arrogantly. I was about to counter him but daddy suddenly chuckled making me lose my train of thoughts. "She's one tough cake to deal with Chance. Trust me, ako ang nagpalaki sa kanya."

Aba at nagkampihan pa! Napairap na lang ako bago nagpaalam na magbibihis. Ayoko na rin namang makipagtalo pa lalo na't sumama na si dy sa usapan. I hurriedly changed clothes before stepoing downstairs. Mahirap na, mamaya kasi kung ano ano nanaman ang sasabihin ng lalakeng 'yon kay dy.

Akala mo close na close na sila nang dinatnan ko sila sa sala. They both have their heads down while they look at my old photos. Alam ko dahil color violet ang album."Ito yung unang-unang contest na sinalihan ni Love. Champion ang anak ko diyan." Daddy proudly remarked while pointing to what I think was my picture during my first ever science quiz bee. Cube was nodding accordingly while studying the photo. He then changed pages and daddy again pointed, "This was her during her first acceleration ceremony. She was accelerated twice." Dy said, captioning another photo.

Napabuntong hininga na lang ako bago ako lumapit at umagaw sa photo album. They simultaneously jerked their heads up, greeting me with pairs of furrowed eyebrows. "Okay, enough with the throwback pictures." I muttered before placing the album back to where it belongs, underneath our coffee table. Chance pouted from what I did. Damn it! He looks freakishly cute when he does that! "Hindi ko pa tapos tignan Love. Ang KJ mo naman." Mapagtamping saad niya. I was left with nothing to say because I got distracted big time.

Buti na lang tumunog ang doorbell kundi mapapalaban ako kung anong isasagot ko sa kanya. Kunwari na lang akong umirap saka nagtungo sa pinto pero bago ko pa mabuksan naunahan na ako ng isa sa mga bodyguards niya. "Sir, sorry po sa istorbo pero nandito na po ang order niyo." Mahinang tugon niya.

Tumango lang si Chance saka nila isa isang pinasok sa kusina ang napakaraming pagkain. Napakamot ako sa ulo ko sa dami n'on, akala mo magpapakain kami ng isang buong barangay. But I chose not to comment about it. Dahil alam kong pagtatalunan lang nanaman namin.

"Dy? Okay ka lang ba dito? Maghahanda lang ako ng makakain mo." I said turning to dy and ignoring Chance who's watching me wryly.

I quickly escaped to the kitchen because I can't take Chance's burrowing gaze anymore. I sighed a couple of times to steady my breathing before I opened almost all the containers to look for something dy could eat. I was busy preparing the pan-baked salmon when suddenly someone trapped me by putting both of his hands on my sides before blowing my left ear.
