Chap 14

               --Melissa's POV--
Maddie came back to the room with puffier eyes than before. She sat down and put her head down on the desk. Soon after gray walked in with the same eyes as Maddie. People were staring at them and whispering.

"Hey can y'all mind your own business please and thank you" I said snapping at them. Ethan put his hand around my shoulder and I rested my head on his shoulder. I hated that my two best friends were like this

-at lunch-
Me and Ethan sat at the lunch table not talking when Maggie walked up to us and sat in front o me and E.

"Hey how you doing" I asked her putting my hand on top of hers

"I'm perfectly f-fine" she said pulling her hand away

"Are you going to cheer practice?" I asked her looking down

"No he's gonna be there" she said starting to tear up

"Come on mads it's gonna be ok" Ethan said

"Fine..." She said

We were about to eat when Grayson came and sat next to her. Maddie got up and Grayson grabbed her hand. Me and Ethan just sat there watching them. She started tearing up and pulled her hand away walking to the bathroom. Gray was about to get up when I stopped him

"She needs space I got her" I got up running after her

--Ethan's POV--
I didn't know what to do. He just broke down. I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the cafeteria before anyone could notice.

"Bro what the fuck" he said

"SITTING AND CRYING ISNT GONNA CHANGE ANYTHING!" I yelled at him and he just stared at me with wide eyes

"What do you want me to do?!" He yelled back

"Not cry obviously! You want her back correct?!" I yelled

"Yeah.." He said

"Then we have to find a way to get you back together" I said pulling him back inside

--Melissa's POV--
I pulled Maddie into the bathroom and she couldn't stop crying.

"Babe why do you keep running away from him?" I asked

"There's no point in hearing what he has to say. I already know everything" she said

"You don't know EVERYTHING" I said. She looked at me confused.

"What do you mean I don't know everything" she replied. I was about to reply to her question when I got a text from Ethan-

Ethan❤️- we have a plan to get them together

Me-what plan?

Ethan❤️-you'll see

Me-ugh I hate you

Ethan❤️-no you love me

I rolled my eyes and looked up at her, she was blankly staring at me.

"Don't worry you'll find out" I said

-next day-
I walked up to my locker where Ethan was standing on his phone. I covered his eyes with my hands.

"Guess who" I said

"Mmmm Kenzie?" He said teasing me

"Bitch" I said letting go off his eyes and opening my locker

"I'm just kidding baby good morning" he said wrapping his arms around my waist

"Awwww goals" I heard someone scream

"So the plan?" I asked ignoring the random person

"You'll see, let's go" he took my hand and shut my locker

-in class-
              --Maddie's POV--
I was sitting in class and 20 minutes has passed by and Grayson still hasn't come to class. I mean I didn't care right? Right... After about 5 minutes I heard the announcements go off. The teacher was asleep like always so everyone was talking. I heard Grayson voice on the announcements-

"Good morning fellow students I'm Grayson Dolan and I have an announcement..." What was he doing?! "There's a special girl that I've been stuck on for quite a while and no matter what I do that girl will not leave my head or my heart. I guess you can say we are unbreakable. Or so I thought. Something happened a few days ago which caused us to drift apart. I wish she could hear me out so I can explain what really happens. Madeline Summers you are my one true love please hear me out. I love you...."
I could hear everyone awing and people staring at me. I got up to leave the class I couldn't handle it. I opened the door and froze in my tracks. Grayson was standing right there with a dozen pink roses.

"Maddie..."

Im so done with life spent like ten minutes pressing the bold button then the italics button back and forth I'm done
