--Melissa's POV-- I woke up today not that excited since Kenzie was forcing me on the cheer team. I lazily put on a navy blue T dress, a flannel around my waist, knee high socks with maroon boots. I put my hair in a side fish tale braid and stuck my glasses in my hair.

-at school- I was standing at my locker when someone tapped me. I turned and a girl was standing behind me wearing a black sweater which covered her face
"Ummmm hi?" I closed my locker
"Hi" she said in a low voice
"C-can I help you" I started becoming a little uncomfortable
"I have a message for you. Stay away from Grayson and Ethan."
"I don't know why I would do that so no..." I said walking away
"Your gonna regret it" I heard her shout to me but I brushed it off. I walked into first period and took a seat next to Ethan.
"Hi" I said giving him a smile
"Hey" he said smiling back. It's weird how me and him are very comfortable around each other even though we just met.
-cheer try outs- I walked out wearing my cheer outfit. The outfit was very revealing. Trying to cover myself up, I walked over to the other girls. Since Kenzie is cheer captain she was going easy on me. I looked over and saw the foot ball team.
"Kenzie!"
"Mel!"
We hugged and I saw Grayson walk over to us.
"Hey Mel, hey babe" he said kissing Kenzie's cheek
"Uuuhh" I looked around trying to ignore them
"Oh we are together" she hugged him "since freshman year" she put her hand on his chest
Grayson ran back to the team and I looked over and saw Mason and Ethan talking. I don't think Ethan knows we're siblings. Ethan looked my way and winked at me.
"Ooooooooh Mel get some" Payton said
"Um pay I don't think he likes me"
"Are you kidding?! He so likes you" jasmine said
"I don't know we just met lets just practice" I rolled my eyes and stretched
We all tried out doing the routine and Kenzie told us who was on the team. Obviously the old cheerleaders are already on but we got a new girl named Julia. We practiced a little more until practice was over. I was walking to the locker room when I heard my name.
"Mel!"
I turned around and saw Ethan running towards me.
"Yeah" I giggled
"I-I wanted to know if you wanted to grab lunch" he said nervously it was to cute. I had to tease him.
"Ummm Ethan...I have a boyfriend..." I said trying so hard not to laugh. He looked at me with sadness in his eyes.
"Oh I'm s-sorry I didn't kn-" I cut him off
"I'm just kidding of course I'll have lunch with you" I said biting my lip
"Great!" he kissed my cheek and we both turned around. I stopped in my track and looked at the girls behind me.
"YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE" they all said. I could hear the guys behind me yelling "get some" I blushed and walked past the girls to the locker room.
-at home- My phone was blowing up with texts from my friends-
Kenzie👑- ARE YOU AND ETHAN LIKE GOING OUT
Me-no kenz y do y'all keep asking
Group message- Kenzie👑-you guys they aren't going out
Maddie👅-oh nah y they're perfect
Pay🤘🏻-yeah ugh melllllllll
I finally decided to answer
Me-we might be cute but idk I don't think he likes me
Kenzie👑-girl! He asked you out!
Me-no he asked if I wanted to grab lunch

I turned off my phone and I heard the door bell ring. I went downstairs and opened the door, my eyes widened.
"E-Ethan"
--Ethan's POV-- I saw Mel standing in front of me. I was kinda confused because Mason invited me and the guys over to celebrate making the football team. I looked back and saw Mason come down the stairs. Are the a thing?
"Hey guys come in!" Mason shouted . All the guys ran inside shoving Mel which caused her to almost fall. I grabbed her hand bringing her back up to her feet
"Hi" I bit my lip looking into her green eyes.
"Hi" she said nervously
"What are you doing here" I say walking inside
"I can't be in my own house" she giggled shutting the door. Oh her giggle I can't control myself.
"Wait Mason's your brother?!" I was surprised
"Yeah!" She said copying me. I rolled my eyes at her and laughed.
"Oh I thought y'all were like a thing" I scratched the back of my neck
Her nose scrunched up so fast "EW WHAT!" She screamed making me laugh
"Ethan come on man" Mason shouted to me
"Well I'll catch you later" I kissed her cheek and ran upstairs
