"Wait-Calum's not Asian?"

Luke laughs, falling back onto the couch.

I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

"He's part Scottish and part kiwi." Ashton says, causing me to look over at him and glance at his haircut. I frown. "Oops."

Luke continues to laugh as Ashton pushes him off the couch.

"Stop laughing." He mumbles.

Luke rolls his eyes.

"How's Calum anyway?" Luke asks.

"I don't know, he seems fine, even when I sleep in his bed with him. But he has to be heartbroken." I say, frowning again.

Ashton shrugs. "I don't know, Tiffany. Maybe he only asked Michael out because he didn't want to upset you. Maybe he never liked Mikey."

I frown deeper. "But-but that can't be right."

Ashton hops off his chair and ruffles my hair. "Sorry kiddo."

I pout. "I'm not a kid."

Luke chuckles before ruffling my hair like Ashton did.

"Sure you're not, kiddo."

I cross my arms. "I'm not a kid!" I yell as they walk off into the living room.

I take my empty bowl of cereal to the sink and place it down. I start the water and move forward to wash the dishes. I grab a dish and begin to clean as I think;

I can't be wrong about Malum. I can't.

"Hey."

I jump. "Jesus Christ, Sky." I say looking up at Skylar.

"You scared me."

She smirks. "I know."

I shut my locker door and hold my binder in my left hand.

"What's up?" I ask.

We start to walk down the hall as she starts to talk. "I haven't really officially met you yet, and I wanted to get to know you. You seem pretty cool." She says shrugging.

"Okay."

"Okay so llamas or alpacas?" She asks.

We continue to walk down the hall towards my first period.

"What? How could you not ship cake?!" She asks dramatically, throwing her hands in the air.

I roll my eyes. "Cake is dead. Malum is where it's at."

She pouts. "Whatever."

We walk into my first period and I drop my binder off at my assigned desk.

I walk back over to Skylar. "Your class next?" I ask.

She nods and we walk out into the hall, arguing about whether Larry is real or not.

It is.

"You should let me copy your homework."

I continue to get my worksheet out as I answer;

"Wouldn't that be cheating?" I ask.

Tyler sits down next to me. "No it would be helping a friend in need." He says before smiling.

I roll my eyes before moving my worksheet away from him.

"No."

He frowns. "Why not?" He whines.
