For people who say sneaker heads are stupid, let me break down how we feel.

It's a passion. I can explain it like this: you know how some people think cars are cool (Cars are amazing) or how girls like this dress or shirt. Or some girls like there hairstyle or a guy from a anime. To us sneakers are our passion, we see them and think there cool, the Anime shirt you like and thinks cool is the pair of Jordan's I like and think is cool. The way the shoe looks and what it represents is what drives me. I like the way a shoe feels or I like the story it tells. The Jordan twos I own are something that I love because they are the shoes my dad liked. I love basketball and I like the players I want to own the same shoes that they use so when I am on the court I can feel like that player. I like to add color to my dark clothing and shoes do that. Yes the passion is expensive but it's fun and the community is amazing. Sneakers aren't just shows you think are expensive and stupid. To us they are more than cool looking shoes. To us it shows we support that player and look up to them, we are standing by them every shot they make, and every shot they miss. We win with them, we fall with them. Sneakers are something that can last forevor. And look cool. But shoes can show the kindness of one man to the other. It's a different respect when you see someone with cool shoes. You say "Nice Jordans" they look at you and say "Thanks man, your Lebrons are fire" it is a respect that binds sneaker people together. Shoes to you are not just shoes to us. Sometimes they can stand for a family member or someone deceased. Sneakers can show your personality. Sneakers can change what you feel like that day. And the hobby is something that when you start, you get going and soon you'll be able to make friends with others on that basis. It's easier. There's people I've met who also like shoes that I went cold and sweaty and nervous because it was so cool to meet them. Sneakers collecting is not just "I have this cool shoes" it's "I got this to represent what my dad used to wear" it's a passion
