CHAPTER 24

Kagabi halos mapulbos ko na sya sa kakareklamo tungkol sa talkshow. Paunti-unti natanggap ko na rin sa sarili ko na pupunta ako sa show na yun pero yung kinabukasan kaagad... Yung ngayon kaagad! Hindi ako prepared. Wala akong matinong damit, hindi man lang ako nakapagpa-salon o spa. Hindi ko pa alam kung anong palusot ang gagawin namin ni Rafael para magmukhang may relasyon talaga kami.

I almost freaked out! No, I'm freaking out!

I heard my Mama knocked the door. "Com-- WAAH! Get out perv!" Hindi kasi si Mama yung pumasok kundi si Rafael. Anong ginagawa nya ng kay aga-aga sa bahay ko? And hell, I'm still in towel wrapped around me fresh from bathroom.

"Hoy, Manang ikaw nagpapasok sa akin tapos sasabihan mo akong 'perv'." He said outside my room.

"Get lost! Kala ko si Mama. Bakit ka ba nandito?"

"Alam ko namang wala kang ibang damit jan kundi pang manang kaya pinagdala kita ng dress."

I peeked outside my room. Ulo lang yung idinungaw ko sa pinto. "Dress? Asan na?"

He smiled like a lunatic psycho. He gave me a paperbag then I closed the door. Sometimes he's a life saver but then again he's the one who brought me to this kind of stuff.

"RAFAEL!" Sumigaw ako ng makita ko ang sarili ko. This dress is too reveling! A fitted, black, low neckline dress that end up two inches above my knees.

Pumasok kaagad si Rafael na gulat na gulat sa pagsigaw ko. "Baki---ohhhh.. It looks good on you." He checked me out.

"Nasisiraan ka na ba? Hindi ako mukhang fiancé sa suot ko kundi isang prostitute na nakuha mo lang basta."

"Don't be over dramatic Demi. It's good on you. Who would have thought that you have some nice curves."

"Perv!" Binato ko sya ng suklay na hawak ko. Nakaiwas sya at tumawa lang. "Insted of lusting over me, won't you help me decide what make-up should I wear?"

He laughed. "First, I am not a pervert. Second, I do not lust with olddies. Third, I can put you make-up."

Ayan na naman po sya sa 'first,second,third and so on' niya. I rolled my eyes and don't give a damn about his explaination pero pumayag akong make-upan nya ako which turned out to be great! He did smokey eyeshadow, conturing and nude lipstick. Cool! I even compliment him with: "Wow, you know how to put make-up... You're a gay!."

He shrugged. "I'm not gay."

At ten in the morning we arrvied at the studio. Everyone stopped doing their things when they saw us. Unang lumapit si Ruiz. "Man! You realy showed up." He gave Rafa a manly hugged. Then I remember about Rafa calling him gay. I guess I can see it now.

Inasikaso na kami. The director gave us some direction. May mga make-up artist din na nagretouch sa amin. Nagustuhan nila yung make-up ko. "Rafa did that." Lahat sila hindi makapaniwala. Samantalang si Rafa, binibigyan ako ng death glare. I ignored him.

"Lights, Camera, ACTION!"

"Welcome to Ruiz TV...." Ruiz gave a breif greetings and introduction about us. "The richest bachelor in the country Rafael Raymundo and The girl who snached away his heart-- Demi Magsaysay."
