CHAPTER -27

Manik reached home with Nandini and Shanti.

Nyonika was waiting impatiently for Manik's return as she being a mother could sense that Manik was in some danger since yesterday.

She had called him several times but his phone was not reachable and even Shanti didn't tell her anything properly.

As soon as Nyonika saw Manik she heaved a sigh of relief.

She immediately rushed to Manik and asked -

Manik theek hai na tu Beta .

Tujhe Kuch hua toh nahi.

Tu mera phone kyu nahi utha raha tha kal se.

Pata hai mai kitna worried thi tere liye.

Manik had initially decided not to tell Nyonika About the kidnapping incident but then thought that it won't be right to hide the truth from her.

Manik self thought- If she comes to know about it from outside she would feel bad.

So he said - Mom I am perfectly fine . I will tell you everything but promise me that you won't panic on hearing this.

Nyonika got worried hearing this.

Nyonika - Aisa kya hogaya Beta. Jaldi bata mujhe.

Manik - Mom aap Pehle baithiye yahan pe.

He made Nyonika sit on the couch and sat infront of her.

Manik - Mom wo Kuch goons ne Hume kidnap kar diya tha.

Nyonika - What ?

Kab?

Kaise?

Tum logo ne mujhe bataya kyu nahi?

Tujhe Kuch hua to nahi?

Manik - Mom mujhe Kuch nahi hua. See I am fine. But Mom woh.......

Saying this he looked for Nandini but she wasn't there.

Nyonika - Wo kya? Bol na.

Manik- Mom woh Nandini......

Nyonika - Nandini kya?????

Manik - Unlogo ne Uske sath.....

Manik couldn't complete the sentence.

Nyonika - Kya hua ..... Tu Kuch bol kyu nahi raha.

Shanti - Unhone Nandini ke sath zabardasti karne ki koshish ki. Agar Manik sahi time pe nahi aata to pata nahi kya anarth hojata.

Nyonika felt really bad for Nandini.

Even though Nyonika didn't like Nandini but still she was a woman. And she could understand the pain that Nandini could have gone through at that time.

Nyonika - Nandini kaha hai?

Shanti - Shayad apne room me hogi.

Nyonika got up and went to Nandini's room.

Nandini was sitting on her bed when Nyonika knocked the door.

Nandini went and opened the door.

Nandini - Maaji aap yahan. Kuch kaam tha to mujhe bula liya hota.

Nyonika - Mai andar aasakti hoon?

Nandini - Aaiye na. Aap puch kyu rahi hai?

Nyonika came inside and asked Nandini to sit down on the bed.

Both of them sat on the bed.

Nyonika - Nandini tum theek ho na?

Nandini - Ji.

Nyonika - Mai jhoot nahi bolungi. Mai Tumhe pasand to nahi karti but kal Jo Kuch bhi hua . Mai samajh sakti hu ke tum pe kya beeti hogi.

Nandini didn't say anything. She just lowered her head.

Nyonika - Agar tumhe Kisi bhi cheez ki zarurat padhe to mujhe bata dena.

Nandini - Ji.

Nyonika was about to go from the room when Nandini stopped her.

Nandini - Maaji aapse Kuch kehna tha.

Nyonika - Bolo.

Nandini - Thank you.

Saying this Nandini hugged Nyonika.

But Nyonika didn't hug her back.

Nyonika - Thanks Kisliye?

Nandini - For being concerned about me.

Nyonika broke the hug.

Nyonika - Thanks ki koi zarurat nahi hai. Tumhari jagah pe koi aur bhi hota to bhi mai itna hi concern dikhati.

Saying this Nyonika left the room.

Nandini had a huge smile on her face.

She was happy that atleast Nyonika tried to be good to her.

Manik entered Nandini's room after Nyonika left and saw the smile on her face.

He felt happy seeing Nandini's smile.

Manik - Kya baat hai akele akele muskuraye ja rahi ho.

Nandini who hadn't seen Manik enter the room immediately turned around to see Manik.

Nandini- Aap yahan.......

Manik - Kyu mai nahi aasakta kya tumhare room me. Theek hai mai chala jata hoon.

Nandini - Arey nahi ..... Maine aisa kab kaha?

Manik - Haan Haan theek hai. Mai bas tumse Kuch share karne aaya tha.

Nandini - Kya?

Manik - Pehle aankhein band karo.

Nandini - Kyu?

Manik - Karo na. Phir Batata hu.

Nandini closed her eyes.

Manik took Nandini's hand in his hand and kept an envelope in Nandini's hand.

Nandini opened her eyes and saw Manik's appointment letter of an ad agency with a letter for his first assignment of photography.

Nandini - Ye toh.....

Manik - Yes . That's right. I got my first assignment. Ye news mai sabse Pehle tumse share kar raha hu. Abhi tak Mom ko bhi nahi bataya Maine.

All this was heard by someone who was standing at the door of Nandini's room.

That person got angry on Nandini and left from there.

Done with another update.
