it been 2 weeks since the shooting.

ZOEYS POV

ZOEY? my mom yelled WHAT? I called back down COME HERE she said be right back i said to Monica and sharia we were on Skype together. i ran down stairs to find my mom on the couch looking all depressed. you okay mom? i asked all worried ummm yeah... she said a little hesitant well no the police called she said my heart just sank it felt like i had a lump in my throat. i sat down next to her so whats happening mom? i asked worried and scared well there will be a trial they found your dad the next day at a friends house ummm the court day will be next friday. she said she ended it with a reassuring smile. alrite mom i will testify i don't care he needs to go to justice he has caused us way to much pain. i said alrite hunny im here if you need to talk i will keep you updated she said and smiled i hugged her and made my way back upstairs.

everything okay? sharia asked umm kinda i found out my dads coart date next week the friday i will be ummm... i paused because they didn't want me going through with all that stress your gonna testify Monica said yeah i am im doing it for my family and defiantly for myself and jai. they both just smiled. girls im gonna go i think im gonna go talk to jai about this text you guys later i said. they both said by and sighned off.

i texted him back i got of my bed i grabbed a pair of shorts and a tank top i also grabbed a pair of shorts blue shorts and a black singlet. i grabbed some necessities and my small make up bag. i walked down stairs with my bag i threw at the front door and went to find my mom.

i found her in the kitchen with Alex. hey mom i said oh hey Hun she said I'm going to Jai's house for the nite i said kinda asking oh ok Hun just give me a text later on bye have fun love you. love you to i said. i walked to the front door before i was about to leave my mom came through you have to go later i forgot you have your doctor appointment to get your stitches removed she said. oh rite i said. i will text jai and let him know. i went back upstairs

ZOEY TIME TO GO my called through. i grabbed my bag i slipped on my runners and ran down stairs. ok lets go i said to my mom. we walked out to the car. so hows things with you and jai? my mom asked really good mom we have been together for over 3 months now im really happy and so is he. he has been there for me through a lot of things. i said smiling well im glad you guys are all happy sweetie oh i told him bout me dropping out i said oh you did what he say? my mom asked nothing he didnt care he dropped out to so yeah i said we were both laughing now. were here i looked to the doors to see the boys and gina there. we soon parked and we walked over to them.

hey guys i said i walked over to jai hi babe i said as i hugged him i grabbed his hand as we walked into the office we all sat down as our moms went to talk to the receptionist. they came back over ok the doctor will see you both in a minute gina said as my mom and gina came back. i just smiled you ok? jai asked concerned yeah just bit overwhelmed and scared. scared? he said bit worried well i was wanting to tell you at the house but heres fine umm i found out the court date for my dad. i said everyone went quiet and im gonna go against him. he has alot he needs to pay for I soon finished I looked at the boys and Gina who looked shocked say something? I said bit anxious oh sorry babe well I'm proud of you and I will be there every step with you jai said I was better now I just grabbed his hand yeah all of us will be there or you Gina said they all just smiled. We sat around for a bit till we had to go

Mr brooks and Miss Johnston the lady said we looked up your turn we got up me and jai hand in Hand and our moms trailing behind we followed the nurse to a room the doctor will be right with you she said then closed the door. I was so scared I was shaking I felt jai grab my hand a bit tighter then pull me in close.

Hi guys the doctor said as he walked in hello I said and jai just smiled. How you guys been he asked umm Alrite it hasn't been to bad I said jai just agreed. Ok who's first the doctor said jai? I said sure he said he got up and walked over to the table he pulled of his shirt then laid on the table. I saw the doctor pull of his bandage and look at his scar then he clipped the stitches and pulled them out it looked like it hurt but jai tried to be strong for me. Alrite your done jai got up and looked at it in the mirror he just smiled and pulled his shirt back on. Your turn the doctor said I walked over to the table I pulled up my shirt just enough for you wouldn't see anything. He slowly removed the baggage his cold hand against my skin gave me chills. Ok I'm gonna cut them now it may hurt a little I felt the cold blade then I felt it. it hurt a lot and I had 10 to get removed i felt each clip soon he was done and went along an pulled them out it hurt a little but not to bad! I felt a cold Cotten swab wipe over it. I didn't want to look at it but I'm having to get use to it and learn to live with it. Alrite your done the doctor said I sat up I pulled down my top not wanting to look. Thanks I said. Me and jai walked out to find the boys jai was showing of his scar but I didn't feel comfortable with it soon my mom and Gina came through you kids ready to go Gina asked yup we all said and walked out. Zoey you staying at ours? Gina asked yeah I am is that okay? I answered yeah of coarse she said and hugged me! I ran to my car grabbed my things and said good bye to my mom then got into to the car with the boys and Gina. Beau and Gina sat in the front while I sat between the twins in the back. We soon arrived to the house.

I got in I threw my stuff in the boys room. I walked through to the bathroom I slipped a blade in my pocket. I walked in I locked the door behind me. I just fell to the ground and started to cry. I felt so sick dizzy it felt like my world was upside down. I got up I walked over to the counter I pulled up my shirt I saw the scar it wasn't to bad but I hated it because I knew who did it to me. I sat back down I pulled my legs up to my stomach I felt something poke me I pulled it out it was the blade. I just sat there with it in my hands. I felt so sick I couldn't handle this. I rolled up my sleeve I sat the blade against my skin I went to cut it till I heard someone at the door! Zoey are you okay? It was Luke yeah I'm fine I said no your not I can tell by your voice Let me in he asked I just ignored him I heard him leave. I could here him talking to jai and beau. I went back to my wrist I did a few slits before any of them could get in here and totally stop me. My arm was all bloody. I just sat there crying I heard like a key in the door then it flew open. I looked up to see jai and the others. ZOEY WHY??? Jai yelled I'm sorry jai it's something I do when I get scared or whatever I'm sorry I'm trying to stop I was crying really hard now. He just looked at me and then he pushed past Luke and beau and ran out the house. Beau went after him. Luke I'm sorry I'm so sorry now Jai's pissed at me why can't my life go rite. I said through my tears he walked over to me and pulled me up. He walked over to the sink to rinse of my cuts the water was pure red. It's ok Zoey jai will come back he needs to clam down don't worry about him beau will straighten him out Luke said. Once he was done he grabbed paper towel and dabbed the cuts they stopped bleeding then he grabbed a bandage and wrapped my arm up. I just grabbed him and he pulled me into a tight hug. Thanks Luke but I'm gonna lie down i said Luke just smiled and let me go. I walked through to the twins room the blade will be thrown out now I left it with Luke I threw on a pair of my sweats and grabbed one of Jai's t-shirts I climed into his bed it smelt like him I started to cry again I just laid there I soon fell asleep.
