So this book started being edited but I stopped so please excuse any mistakes. I changed Ameenahs character so some pictures through out the story might throw you off.

Ameenah

"How is she?" Ahmeer asked rushing into the waiting room. Symone had gotten a emergency text message from Toni and tried calling but she wouldn't answer. Symone,Mama Nita and I drove to the party that she was at but we couldn't find her.

We drove around for a little while and saw a body on the side of the rode. I couldn't even speak when I noticed it was Toni. Symone ran over to her in tears and screamed for help as Mama Nita sat there bawling and blaming herself for what happened. People came out of their houses and noticed what was going on and called the cops. Toni was rushed to the hospital with Mama Nita while I drove with Symone. Now we were in the waiting room waiting for the doctor to come out and let us know how she's doing.

"Ameenah!" he called out again breaking me out of my thought.

"I don't know, we haven't seen her. There was so much blood and..." I whispered as images of Toni's battered and bruised body flashed through my mind.

"I'ma find out who did this" he said angrily balling up his fist. I looked over at Symone who was being held by Mama Nita. Ahmeer had walked off to go talk to them.

"I wish finding whoever did this would undo it all but it won't" I frowned staring at the bland colored hospital tiled floor.

"Ameenah" I heard a familiar voice call out and I knew who it was. I stood up and hugged Jesse tight as he kissed my head.

"Y'all heard anything yet?" He asked.

"No, nothing" I answered sadly. We haven't had an update on Toni since we've been here.

"You gotta stay strong for her alright, y'all know what happened to her?"

"No we just found her, somebody left her on the side of the road to die like she was trash" I cried hating the images that wouldn't leave my head. Even though me and Toni bumped heads and we weren't on the best of terms, I would never wish something like this upon her.

"I'm sorry baby" he said and just held me. I moved my face away and noticed I got makeup on his sweater. He looked down and shook his head before taking it off and wiping the rest of my face. I smile feeling a little better now that he was here.

My smile instantly fell off my face when I looked at the entrance. Marcus and Xiomara walked in and Xiomara looked like she could care less about what was going on. She was clinging onto Marcus as if her life depended on it.

"She better not start any drama" I said making Jesse turn around and let of a loud breath.

"This is not going to end well" he said as Marcus walked over to us.

"Hey Ameenah, people are talking about what happened at the party and I heard something happened to Toni. Is she okay?" He asked as Xiomara rolled her eyes.

"You got a problem Xiomara, it seems like something is wrong with your eyes" I spoke up ignoring Marcus' question.

"Ameenah I don't have a problem with you so don't start one" she said and made a face like she shit me down.

"My cousin is in the hospital possibly fighting for her life and you come in here still looking mad and bitter about what happened. Stop making shit about you and grow the fuck up" I said not raising my voice because I didn't want to cause a scene in the hospital.

"I know I do not see this girl in here, she better be here visiting family or something" Symone said walking over. I mentally face palmed myself knowing an argument was about to start.

"Symone chill this ain't the time or place. Xiomara if you here with ill intentions then you need to leave now. Marcus you wrong as hell for bringing her in here, I know your intentions ain't bad but you gotta go" Jesse said speaking up. I knew this wasn't the best time but I kind of like when he got assertive and boss like.

"He's the one that wants to play captain save a hoe" Xiomara shrugged. Symone jumped over and punched her in the face and began molly whooping her up and down the waiting room floor. Jesse pulled me out of the way before going to grab Symone as Marcus grabbed Xiomara.

Security guards came running in and grabbed Symone and Xiomara. Mama Nita was standing there and threw a hit at Xiomara but I stopped her.

"I don't want to have to throw y'all out" the security guard started as he looked at the both of them.

"That bitch hit me first"

"My sister had something happen to her and you in here talking shit. So yeah I'ma hit you bitch and Ima keep hitting you every time I see you. I was trying to stay out of it and not get involved in y'all drama but you went too far" Symone yelled as people in the waiting room stared at us.

"You could escort that out too" Mama Nita said pointing at Marcus.

"Escort her out" another security guard said nodding towards Xiomara.

"She hit me first" she yelled as she was dragged out of the hospital.

"I'm letting you stay because I know you want to be here for your sister. If this happens again I will have no choice but to remove you from the hospital do you understand ?" The first security guard that spoke said talking to Symone. She nodded her head and he released her.

"Let's go young man" they said to Marcus. He didn't argue as they directed him out of the waiting room.

"Family of Toni-Ann" the doctor said making us all turn around quickly.
