Chapter 27

She cleared her throat and broke the stare. "Umm so at what time we have got the appointment??" She asked looking at the chocolate syrup bottle. Seriously???

"Around ten"

"Okay"

"I'm going in my office have to do some work..and don't bother with the dishes and cleaning..I'll take care of that and yeah you also go and take some rest" I told her as I stood up. She nodded and started walking.

We reached hospital exactly at ten. We quickly went towards the doctor's cabin.

"Hello doctor I'm Arhaan Sheikh and She's Mahira Sheikh" I introduced us.

"Oh yeah Mahira Arhaan Sheikh your wife who met with an accident." The doctor said.

"Umm..yeah.." I replied. The doctor asked us to sit down and he started going through the reports. I looked at Mahira and yes she was looking in my direction only smiling. I can make out she's controlling very hard to not to laugh loudly.

"What???" I asked silently.

"Nothing" she said as her smile was going a little louder.

"Tell me" I demanded her.

"Umm..yeah..." She said almost laughing. Shit...she heard!! Damn me!!! Out of nervousness and feeling a bit shy..I started rubbing the back of my head and all of a sudden I heard some one's loud laughter. It was Mahira's. I glared at her. She quickly closed her mouth with her hands and was now looking down.

"Umm..sorry doctor for misbehaving" I said.

"No problem!! Well I would like to borrow your wife for sometime so that we can run some tests and make sure that everything is fine." I nodded.

"Umm..so Mrs. Sheikh I believe you're having any pain now on your back while walking, or doing anything??" He asked.

"No doctor..it almost feels like I haven't gotten any hurt in my back..I actually feel just like before" she replied. I smiled.

"Well that's a good sign Mrs.Sheikh. Now let us go.." He said as he stood up and walked out of the cabin. Soon after a nurse came and took Mahira with her. I was now sitting alone in the cabin.

After waiting for half an hour Mahira finally came and she was smiling away with a mischievous glint in her eyes. What has actually gotten into her today???

She came and sat down. The doctor also came. "Ahh..so I have the rough report with me now..you could collect the final reports after an hour." He said. We both nodded.

"I've already gone through the reports and have also told Mrs.Sheikh that all her reports are positive and there's no need for any surgery. Her back is perfectly fine." He said. And I actually relaxed after a month. I was happy to hear this. I was really really happy.

"Thank you, thank you so much doctor..it's all because of you and your medicines. Thank you so very much!!" I told him.

"It's not because of me Mr.Sheikh. I had only done what I was supposed to do..It was all because of God's wish and especially her taking care of herself." He replied. I actually looked at her with happiness.

"No doctor It wasn't because of me. It was totally because of my husband. If he wouldn't have been there with me at every single time to support me, to motivate me. I don't think I would have healed so quickly" she told the doctor with full proudness.

This actually touched the core of my heart. I held her hand and squeezed. "Thank you"

"No..thank you for taking care of me". Sje said.

"It was my duty Mahira" I said. She was shocked. But I didn't missed to see that little tear escaping from her eyes.

"It actually feel good to see such a young couple in so much love. You both are perfect for each other." The doctor said. Now we both were shocked.

"Okay so I've written down some medicines take it for two days and then stop it. Now you're perfectly fine and can live your life normally." The doctor smiled and winked towards me. God don't tell me that.....fish!! I turned towards her and her cheeks were now a perfect color of red.

We said our good bye to the doctor and went to collect the reports and after collecting we exited the spider web in Mahira's term!!

"Arhaan can we eat Ice cream?? I want to eat..please don't say no please" she said. I was thinking "Oh! I understand you don't want to be seen with me..but I'm not asking you to take me to the Ice cream parlor we can have Ice cream here in the car." She said. I chuckled.

"Dumbo I wasn't thinking about that..but thanks for the idea anyway" I said. And now she was pouting. I chuckled and went to take the Ice cream.

I took the Ice cream and drove towards the hill side where there's nobody. I parked the car at the side and we both went out of the car.

"Wao..this place is beautiful" she said.

"Indeed it is..I just love this place. It's always silent here" I replied. She smiled.

"Arhaan if I'll ask you a question will you reply honestly??" She asked suddenly.

"Yeah ask"

"All those sweet talks and especially taking care of me you did all that because just out of concern or you were forced to do it??" She asked. And I suddenly froze. Did she know??

"Didn't I answered this in the hospital" I said normally.

"Yeah you did but I want the truth" she said. "You know very well you can't play well without me knowing about it"

"Mahira what are you talking about??" I asked innocently.

"You did all that just because dad ordered you to that na??" She said suddenly. Damn..how did she came to know??

"Answer me"

"Yes..but everything wasn't an acting and you also know that well" I said honestly. It's true that dad did call me and ordered me but I didn't agree. But when I really saw her that she was in pain and needed help then I decided to help her. Partially it was because of dad and partially because I wanted to but this I can't really explain to her. And I know right now she's hurt.

"Where did you got to know??" I asked straight forwardly being the original me.

"I heard you talking with him the other day. I wanted to confess then and there but I didn't wanted dad to know about all this otherwise he would have felt guilty." She said. I nodded in return.

"I know Arhaan you don't love me..nor you care..but you do care slightly. And you must be thinking that because of me you're being forced into everything and trust me I don't want you to that. Thanks for taking care of me at that I really needed someone by my side and I was glad that..that someone was you. I really don't care if you did by your wish or someone told you..you actually helped me in my bad time that's the biggest thing for me. Thank you Arhaan" she said smiling.

I was shocked for a moment. Is she for real?? I nodded my head and smiled. "You're mad..totally!!" to which she was laughing.

It was already evening when we reached home. I ordered Pizza for us and we happily ate. Soon she got a call from Aamna..and she was jumping. What is it with her??

She put the call on speaker and then I hear shouting "You both are coming to Dubai tomorrow it's an order from me...and you're not denying because we know that Mahira is very much well and she can come and I practically have your whole schedule Arhaan and I am personally taking care of this" Mom said.

And before I could say anything "tomorrow at ten jet will be ready to depart" dad said. Uhh..why my family has to do this?? I love my family alot and yes I don't hate my dad for making me force into everything but yes I'm angry with him that's it. I can never hate my family. Mom, Dad, Aamna...they all are my life and Laiba too and Mahira is my family's life. A bit complicated??? I know!!

"Fine" I said.

So guys what will this Dubai trip will do in their relationship?? Will this trip make them closer??
