Hi! Alexa here! Alexandra Henriette Slade is my full name and my friends call me Alexa.

Speaking of my friends, kasama ko silang lahat ngayon. Syempre, chibugan.

Lunch break kasi, at dahil gutom talaga kami ngayong araw sa dami ng pinapagawa, lafang kung lafang. We're all in 3rd year middle school now and we all first met each other back in 1st year. Also, we'll be 1st year high in a few months' time.

Inilipat ko ang atensyon sa mga kaibigan ko. I couldn't help myself but to think back about how we all became friends and now, we're part of a very well-known gang here in Japan called Phoenix. Hindi nga lang nila alam ang real names and faces namin because we wear masks. Mahirap na.

"Alexa." Napatingin ako kay Scarlette nang tawagin niya ako. "You're not touching your food." She said as she looked at me with worry.

"Ah. Sorry. Got lost in my thoughts." I said apologetically and gave her a smile.

"Please stop showing your favoritism." I turned to Vivianne who is now pouting at my and Scarlette's little moment. I didn't say anything, bahala siya sa buhay niya.

"Have you heard?"

"You're talking about Miaka's brother, aren't you?"

"Yes. Yes. Isn't it scary?"

"That's true..."

"Why? What happened?"

"He was attacked by a gang or something."

"What do they get by hurting innocent people?" Napatingin kaming magkakaibigan kay CJ nang magsalita siya.

Claude Justin Adino, CJ for short. He is our Tamahome. Sa aming walo, siya talaga ang pinakamalakas. Pumapangalawa lang ako. It doesn't matter to me kahit na pangalawa lang ako kay CJ. I mean, totoo naman na mas magaling siya sa akin at tanggap ko yun.

"Chill, CJ." Natatawang suway ni Austin. Hindi sa wala siyang pake sa narinig namin kani-kanina lang. He just wanted to calm CJ dahil delikado. *sigh*

Austin Manuel goes by the codename Hotohori. Hindi halata but he's actually selfless. Masyadong mabait kaya sinasamantala. Good thing is that natuto siya na in moderation lang and so far, hindi na siya tinetake advantage, subukan lang nila. He's now taking the role of a guardian in our group.

Xenia Vivianne Fujiwara. Ang prangkang kikay na hot-headed. There's nothing much to say dahil yan talaga siya, with a heart. That's why she's our Nuriko.

Darell Salvador A.K.A Tasuki. The kwela at pasaway. Pero hindi naman basagulero, makulit lang talaga.

Kurt Cruz, codename Mitsukake. Our group's healer. He's the most skilled when it comes to first aids and that his ultimate dream is to be one of the greatest doctors.

Charlotte Cade, a genius. Atleast that's what we see her as. The most objective and calm among the group. She goes by the codename Chiriko.

Naomi Scarlette Leighton. Our Chichiri. Our baby. My baby. Awayin mo na kahit sino sa amin, wala kaming pake. Huwag ka lang magkakamaling saktan si Scarlette, kundi malalagot ka sa aming lahat.

And of course, I am Suzako. Ewan ko nga sa mga 'to kung bakit ako ang naisipan nilang gawin na 'leader'. Hindi hamak namang mas matino and leader material si CJ. Besides, he's the one who brought our gang's creation. I once asked CJ why he was so adamant in creating our own gang. He told me that he'd like to help people realize that being strong doesn't give them permission to toy with someone else's life just because they wanted to.
