Chapter 11: A Mission

"Honey...I think you're on your period" My mom laughs and I have never seen my dad turn as pale as he did when my mom said those words.

"Stop this Xena. Oh god! It won't stop flowing...how do women deal with this." My dad panics

"Okay...this I can stop" Xena sighs

"Phileo les centopia" She says and the blood flow stops and by now I'm just disgusted

"Thank you" My dad sighs

"Can we hurry up and do this so I can become a woman again?!" My mom yells and I nod

"Yeah let's go" I say

"Um guys...can I just take a shower first?" My dad asks and we all sigh

"Ok, so Xena said we can just walk in normally cause we have the scent and everything" Uncle Alex says

"Oh ok then" I say and I just walk in front of my parents and Uncle Alex and try to look as casual as possible. What do you do when you try to act casual. Whistle!

"Good afternoon" one of the guards at the door says and I stop whistling

"Sup" I nod and I can hear the internal face palms my parents are doing behind me

"Come closer" the guard says and I do as he asks

He takes a big whiff of my neck, which I must say felt extremely weird.

"Enter" he says and I nod

That wasn't actually too bad. I turn around and soon enough everyone passes the guards. But when my dad passes the guard, the guard grabs his hand.

"Hey babe...what's your name?" the guard asks my dad and everyone tried to stifle their laughter as my dad looked at him disgusted.

"Um....I don't have one" dad says and gets out of there as fast as possible.

"Nice one" my mom smirks

"Forget you ever saw that" my dad grumbles and pulls down his skirt.

"So where do you think they are keeping Amy?" My dad asks

"Oh yeah...like I would know" I respond sarcastically

"Maybe in the dungeon" My mom says

"And where would that be?" I ask

"I'm assuming that it is like the last floor" Uncle Alex says and I nod

"Ok let's split up. Uncle Alex and I will check the upper floors just in case she's isn't in the dungeon and you and dad will check the dungeon." I say

"Alright, let's go" Uncle Alex says

I climb up the stairs with Uncle Alex trailing right behind me. The staircase leads us to a hallway filled with rooms.

"Ill check the room on the left side and you check the rooms on the right" Uncle Alex orders and I nod

"Empty" I call as I check the first room

"Empty" I hear Uncle Alex say

"Empty"

"Empty"

"A couple having sex"

"Ew"

As I approached the next room, I heard yelling. So I listened carefully.

"Please stop! I didn't even do anything" I hear a guy yell

"You're a human and you don't belong here. That's good enough" Another guy says

A human? Wait a second...didn't Xena say that the hybrid's parents blocked his powers? What if this is him?! Before even thinking, I just open the door and I see a guy about my age with blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He was surround by a group of guys and one of them extend their canines and it looks like he was about to sink them in this guy's flesh.

After not thinking yet again, I used my powers to subtly move the blankets that I saw was on the cupboard above the guy and I made it fall on the group surrounding the human/posible hybrid guy.

"Hey!" One of them yell under the blanket

"Come on!" I yell to the guy and he runs out of the room. I quickly lock the door and we run to the end of the hallway.

"Um who's this?" Uncle Alex asks and I held up a finger telling him to wait until I catch my breath.

"Thank you" the guy says to me and I nod. I myself am surprised that I used my powers that I NEVER use around anyone but myself to help some stranger I don't even know.

"What's your name?" I ask

"Blake. Yours?"

"Michael"

"And I'm Alex but can you tell me who this is Michael?" Uncle Alex says

"He is a...human.....right?" I looked at Blake to confirm and he nods sadly

"Human? What does that have to do with any-oh OH" Uncle Alex looks shocked as he looks as Blake

"Well you found him fast" Uncle Alex says

"Is there by any chance any other humans in this pack?" I ask

"No" he says hesitantly

"So it has to be you" Uncle Alex says

"I'm confused" Blake says running his fingers through his hair

"We will explain later. But first, do you know where the Rogue King keeps his prisoners?" I ask and he looks at me suspiciously

"In the dungeon" Blake answers slowly

"Can you take us there?" Uncle Alex asks and Blake nods

"Follow me" he says and starts walking down the stairs

After walking down 5 more flights of stairs, we reach this floor that is just plain dirty and smells like rotting flesh. My wolf already feels restless knowing that my mate was held down in this disgusting and filthy place.

"Halt. Why are you down here?" A guard says and I exchange a nervous glance with Uncle Alex

"We are here to see my father" Blake speaks up

"Oh Blake I didn't see you there. Your father is further down" the guard says

"Ok thanks" Blake say and we walk pass the guard

"Your dad is a dungeon guard?" I ask

"Uh huh" Blake says as we walk down the dungeon. I see all sorts of people rotting away in these cells and honestly it's just horrific. I feel sick as I look at all the torture devices and all the sickly people. The smell of this place raises bile up my throat until I reach a familiar smell.

"Amy" I whisper and started to run

"Where are you going?" Blake yells and starts to follow with Uncle Alex

I stop in front of a room. I know she's in here, I feel it. But why is she in a room and not a cell? I reached for the knob but a hand stops me. It's Blake.

"This door is made out of pure silver. Are you trying to burn off your whole hand?" He shouts

"But I need to get in" I say

"Why?" He asks

"His mate is in there" Uncle Alex responds
