32.Change Me Back
“James, it is good to see you up and about so soon,” Dr. Jason commented as he slipped through the flaps.
“Change me back,” I cried as I rubbed my cast.
“I already did,” he replied confused. He turned to look at me and I stared into his eyes.
“Back to a lion,” I cried as I turned my gaze away.
“Why? You are a wonderful human,” he replied still puzzled.
“No, I'm not. I'm not strong like John or smart like you. I'm a weakling and I'm dumb like a new born cub. My own daughter knows more about the human world than I do!” I sobbed as I buried my face into my left palm.
“James, you are pretty good at being a human; even though, you missed many years of schooling. You will soon be better than your daughter; plus, no one can call you weak. You have the strength of a normal human,” Dr. Jason chuckled as he turned back to his work.
“No one understands!” I yelled as I painfully pushed myself up; then I dashed to an old pine tree with many large branches.
