9.Freaking Out Annie
She soon returned with a good-size rock, which she placed in my cage. She then released us Big cats and hopped onto my back before we headed to the circle cage. We practiced our routine before she left only Karen and me in the cage, while she put the others away.
I glanced at Karen playfully and said, “Let's fight, but with no claws.”
“Okay,” she purred as she pounced on me. We rolled and tumbled around the cage as we batted each others face and limbs.
We kept fighting until Annie came screaming in. “Stop! Stop!” she cried as she grabbed my scruff and tried to pull me off Karen.
I looked at her and whispered, “We were just playing.”
“Shh!” Annie wept as she led us back to our cages.
“Well, that was fun,” purred Karen as she laid down to sleep.
“Dad, please try to act like a lion,” she pleaded as she locked my cage.
'Lions fight, dear,' I scratched on the rock as I purred.
“True, but please don't scare me again like that,” she replied as she scratched behind my ear.
'It is in my name, but sure dear. Where are we?' I etched still purring.
“Near home,” she answered before she ran off.
