36.Do the Show
I hurried down the hall and stopped at the doorway of my mother's class. “James, who do you need?” she asked as she looked up at me.
“Robi Otter and Billy Marsh please,” I told and my mother excused them. They followed me a little ways down the hall before I asked, “Will you two do the show tonight?”
“Um...James, we are humans...” Billy replied so perplexed.
“No silly.” Robi slapped Billy's arm as she purred, “He means run it like Annie does.” She turned and looked at me. “Sure brother. We can.”
“Good. You two better for practice,” I chuckled before they hurried away. I hurried back to Anna and sat beside her. “It is all set; so when do I get to see Annie?”
“We can go tonight,” Anna cried as we lay in my bed, my arm around her; then she fell asleep, so I went to check on Robi and Billy. Since they seemed fine, I went to the old pine tree.
