Hindi ko mabasa kung ano bang reaksyon niya nung makita niya ako. I'd like to think that I still have that effect I have on her dahil sa expression ng mukha niya. I can't say anything but I chose to speak first.

"Let's go." Tangina Kevin. Yan lang masasabi mo?

"Yeah. I'm all set and ready to go," she said smiling. If there's anything to feel right now, I should be happy too but I can't show it. How does she manage to smile like that in front of me? Women are really complicated. Kailan lang nung umiiyak siya sa harap ko tapos ngayon kung makangiti siya parang walang nangyari ah? Iba tsong.

Reena's POV

"Yeah. I'm all set and ready to go." I said. He looked at me with his "oh so famous poker face"for a while bago niya tignan yung luggage ko tsaka niya binuhat.

I was taken a back by his gesture but I let it go. Tinawagan ko si Carlo kagabi and I told him I'd come pero nung makarating ako dito, wala naman na sila dahil ang sinabi nilang oras sa'kin 9:30, I called them pero hindi sila sumasagot tapos ito pala yung plano nila. But why not? I might as well ride with him. Wala namang mawawala.

"Alis na kami, manang." Paalam ko.

"Sige ho, mag-ingat kayo." sabi naman ni manang at ngumiti na lang ako.

Nauna siyang lumabas, he placed my luggage at the back seat of his Range Rover and got in tsaka ako sumunod at sumakay na rin.

We just rode in silence. Dumaan kami via CAVITEX. As far as I know, Canyon Cove yung pupuntahan namin which is a beachfront resort in Nasugbu. It's two and half hours away from Manila.

"Can we stop by a drive-thru?" I ask him. Hindi pa kasi ako nagbreakfast dahil ang aga kong nagising kanina and I'm starving.

"Why?"

"Nagugutom ako eh," I tell him. He didn't answer me anymore. Dinaan niya naman sa drive thru ng Mcdo.

"What do you want?" he asked me nung mag o order na siya.

"Chicken sandwich and a green apple float please. Ikaw, hindi ka ba gutom?" I answer and ask him at the same time.

"Hindi." he plainly answered me before he ordered.

After a few minutes, he handed me my order and paid for it.

I thank him before we hit the road again. Naubos ko agad yung food within five minutes. Hindi naman talaga ako gutom eh.

Nagpa-gas din muna si Kev and after that deretso na yung byahe namin. No more interruptions and within two hours, nakarating na kami. Hindi nga siya mabilis magpatakbo eh. Hindi talaga.

When we got in front of the hotel, a valet was coming right at us to get the key from Kev for him to park it. We got out of the car and Kev called two people who seems to be working here to get our bags out so we could check in.

We go straight at the reception area.

"Good afternoon ma'am, sir. Do you have any reservations?"

"No, is there any more available rooms?" He was the one who spoke to the receptionist.

"Yes, sir but most of the rooms are reserved for the people attending the seminar this afternoon so we only have a few vacant rooms." the receptionist answered with conviction. I must say she's well-trained. She's going through something in her computer, "and you're in luck. We have one more vacant room for you," she smiled to the both of us.

One room? For the two of us? Nope.

"Uhm actually, we need two rooms. Please." I kindly smiled at her.
