I rub my face and yawn. My eyes flicker open. I'm in a ship. I look down and seen bandages around my torso. Apparently I lived, but how? I at least lost 3-4 pints of blood. Doesn't really matter, I'm still living so that makes me happy. Wait, not too happy Carolina probably has my knife now. Ugh. I shake my thoughts away and try to sit up. Pain shoots up my torso. I groan and lay back down. I hear footsteps gradually coming closer to my position. It can either be good or bad. I look up to see the visitor, Felix. "We made it doll" He says proudly.
"We did."
"We did and we also got shit ton of money." Felix comes closer and crouches down beside me.
"Now what? We're consider outlaws to Chorus and the Reds & Blues?"
"Don't be a Debby downer, I have faith that we will manage for a long time." I nod in agreement. I look over at him. He takes his hand and moves my hair back behind my ear. I smile slightly and yawn again. He leans in and cups my cheek. The kisses me, I kiss back passionately. I think I made the right choice. He pulls away and smiles. Then he pulls something out from behind him, my beautiful knife. I guess this will do for a happily ever after.
