The Oni observed both thoroughly, then he turned to Yuna. "What order catches your eye?"

The huntress looked at the creature. The wheels were turning in her mind. Did he belong here?

"Is this really okay?", asked Wataru.

"I don't know.", replied the girl.

Behind his counter, the Oni smiled. "Your order. Please."

"Do we have to order something?" Wataru looked around the restaurant.

"Yes. The Kitsune special. Please."

The Oni nodded. "Once the Kitsune special. Please follow me, but not only with your eyes."

He came giggling around the counter and went down a hallway to a door. The huntress and the musician followed him there. In front of the door he stopped and faced them.

"Excuse me, but I see only one person at a time move through this door."

"I won't leave her alone.", protested Wataru.

Yuna turned to him. "It's okay."

"I will not let you go alone with him."

The blue-haired put her right hand on Wataru's left shoulder, while her left hand rested on her stomach. "Trust me. Just a little bit more."

"Are you absolutely sure, Yuna-chan?"

She nodded. "Yes. I am among friends here."

Carefully he looked at the shopkeeper, then he looked back at the blue-haired. "You're not a Yakuza, right?"

The girl smiled. "Does it matter?"

"I guess not."

She bit her lip, then she looked him in the eyes. "Go home. I'll be there as soon as possible and then we will talk."

The Oni cleared his throat.

Slowly the young man began to nod. "Okay."

"Thank you, Wataru-san."

She kissed him goodbye on the cheek and squeezed her blanket in his hand, then she went with the Oni through the door. Wataru stared a while at the door. Finally he turned around and left the store. As he strolled through the square, he recapitulated the situation. What was going on? Yuna usually was not so ... girly. He never thought that she would kiss someone on the cheek in thanks. This had to be a dream.

The huntress felt a little shabby because she had exploited Wataru's feeling for her, but it had been very effective. Maybe she had exaggerated a little with the kiss, but at that moment it seemed right. Sincere. Somehow she liked this guy. When she was done with Tirr, she definitely would find out if she was ready for a love relationship.

The Oni opened another door and waved her through. "He's upstairs."

"Thank you."

"See you." Again, he giggled.

"Ha ha." She climbed up the stairs, while the door was closed behind her. Once at the top, she knocked on the door in front of her.

"Yes?"

"It's me. Yuna."

"Come in."

The huntress stepped in through the door. To her left stood slippers lined up. She had to smile and changed her shoes. A little further down the corridor the little fox came out of a room.

"Oh ... this is not a social call.", stated Kitsune.

Yuna lifted her hand, so he could see her belly wound. "No. I need your help."

"Looks like it. Come over here." He led the huntress in the same room where she was treated the last time. "What happened?"

"Stab wound. Something is not right, because I don't heal for almost two days."

"That is not good. Lay down."

The girl did as she was told and rolled the ripped T-shirt up to expose her wound.

"You can undress completely. It's no problem." The fox smirked.

"I decline."

"You're no fun, girl."

The fox shot up and transformed into an old man. He pushed a pair of glasses, which had small lamps on the sides, on his nose and picked up a few tools.

"Then let's see."

He began his investigation. With some kind of needle and tweezers he poked at her wound. Yuna grimaced in pain and groaned.

"Do you need an anesthetic?", asked the healer.

"No. Just hurry up."

He nodded and continued his work. After a few minutes he stopped.

"So ... your gut is injured and there sticks ... dietary fibers? Did you eat?"

"Yes."

His eyes widened in surprise. "With such an injury?!"

"I usually feel no pain, remember?"

"Well. I'll have to get that stuff out. Then I sew you back together and you can have some more of my tasty medicine."

She smirked. "I was looking forward to this since I got this wound."

Kitsune began to fish the undigested remains from the innards of the girl.

"I thought that you are nearly invulnerable.", he confessed.

"I am."

"Then your attacker must have been pretty strong."

"It was Tirr."

The healer looked up from the wound into her eye. Oh yes, he knew this monster. He devoted himself again to the cuts in her stomach.

"Why are you alive then?", the man asked as he scooped more leftovers out.

"He wants me to deliver a message to Yoshiro."

Smoothly, he shook his head. "You should stay out of this. This is a really messed up story."

"I am already involved."

He sighed. "Then run away. Leave this city and start a new life somewhere else."

Yuna groaned.

"Sorry."

"It's okay. No. Tirr must die."

He licked his lips. "You can't kill him. Many have tried, all have failed."

"I will succeed."

The man smiled. "You're pretty beaten up, in case you haven't noticed."

She looked sternly at him. "I'm still alive, or not?"

"For now, yes."

It tweaked and stabbed in the belly of the huntress. The old man let go of her and deposited his bloody instruments on a towel.

"Good. I think were done. Then I sew you back together."
