|Chapter 25|

*TAYLOR'S POV*
Okay, so mini update; I just watched my soon to be girlfriend kiss my best friend for more than 10 seconds which is a pretty long time considering it was only a dare. I was beyond pissed and I saw Alyssa was, too. So I stormed out of the room after her ignoring the shouting of Carly and Shawn from behind me as I left. I knocked on Alyssa's door. She locked the door behind me. It was silent for at least 2 minutes and then she spoke.
"Can you believe it?" She asked me.
"Not at all." I responded shaking my head.
"How could they? My best friend and my boyfriend?" Alyssa continued on as I thought about what just happened. Carly was the best girlfriend I've ever had, and I don't know how she could've done this. I know you guys are all probably thinking, "Yo Taylor. Chill, it was one kiss and a dare. You just started dating earlier today, relax." You're wrong. Carly is amazing. She's hilarious, caring, kind, friendly, forgiving, loyal, honest, and beautiful inside and out. Boyfriends usually call their girlfriends pretty and adorable. Now, don't get me wrong Carly has both of those traits, but she's much more than that. She's the most special girl I know and I'm the luckiest man on earth to have her in my life. I knew I had to forgive her sometime soon, I couldn't stay mad at a girl as sweet as she is.
"Do you want me to talk to her for you?" I asked Alyssa knowing she wouldn't want to talk to either of them for the rest of the night.
"You forgave her already? It's been five minutes!" She asked rolling her emerald eyes.
"Listen, Alyssa, I know you're probably super pissed at Shawn and Carly, but you need to learn to forgive. Carly is the best girl in the world and you're so lucky to have her as a best friend. And Shawn, well, he's the best friend I could ever ask for. He's talented, understanding, and one of a kind guy. He's special, so please don't let him go. Shawn's in love with you. You can see it in the way he looks at you and when someone says 'Alyssa' his face brightens up. He loves you, trust me." I felt like a mom. Alyssa started crying and jumped off her bed to give me a hug. Then she whispered,
"Thank you Taylor." Then she went into her bathroom, cleaned herself up, and we went to forgive Shawn & Carly.

*CARLY'S POV*
After Shawn & I's kiss, and after Taylor & Alyssa left went into my room, I burst into tears in Shawn's room. He sat next to me trying to comfort me, but I couldn't be comforted. My best friend and my boyfriend hated me for kissing my best friends boyfriend! I'm mad at myself, too. It was just a dare
and we kissed a tad longer than appropriate. They're so mad at me! How could they not be? I cried for ten minutes until there was a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" Shawn asked.
"Us." Someone responded. I recognized that voice anywhere. It was Taylor. I sprinted into the bathroom the wipe my tears away. Taylor & Alyssa walked in just as I entered the bathroom.
"Where's Carly?" Tay asked.
"Bathroom. She was pretty upset, she went to clean herself up." Shawn responded. I ran out of the bathroom and into Taylor's arms.
"I love you, Carly." He whispered to me.
"I love you, too." I whispered back kissing his cheek.
After we got settled and everyone apologized and forgave each other, Shawn and Alyssa got comfy in one bed watching "Orange is the New Black" on Netflix and Taylor and I got comfy in the other bed watching "Criminal Minds" on Netflix. I fell asleep in Taylor's strong arms feeling safe. The last words I heard were,
"Good night Car, I love you."
