You creased your brows as you saw him backed away. "What's wrong?"

"The one you're holding..." Joey trailed.

"Oh you mean this little monster here." You smiled rubbing the head of the cute cat. "Now I remember." You paused and avert back your sight at him. "You like cats. You should pet this little cutie then." You suggested holding out the cat near to Joey.

You were then puzzled when he just stare at the little creature. "Um... I do like cats because they're cute and fluffy but..." He plastered a sheepish smile. "I'm allergic to them." He stated as you gape in disbelief.

"Really?" You looked at the cat you are holding out and immediately took it back. "S-sorry I didn't know." Your expression then saddened. "Now I don't have anything with me to make our situation better." You timidly said then silence followed.

You feel awkward about the silence thus you wanted to break it and decided to open a conversation. "Um... I'm sorry about earlier. I-I think you're right. It's not really your busine-,"

"No, I should be the one who's sorry for being such an ass earlier." He interrupted. "Also, I'm sorry for ruining your moment with Shine." He apologized scratching his neck.

You perked up on what he said, "now that you said that, where's Shine? I still haven't taken any photo with him." You panicked. "Did he went back home already? No..." You trailed at the thought as your world starts to shatter. "No way... I came here all in all, patiently waited to meet him and it just all turned out like this?" You were starting to tear up when you heard a giggle coming from Joey. You look at him as if he was some kind of a weird alien giggling at your misery.

"Sorry, it's just you are overreacting." He giggled once again. "He's still here." Your surroundings brighten hearing what he said.

"Really?" you smiled, "let's find hi-," you two were interrupted by call coming from Joey's phone.

"Hello?... Huh? Really? Okay. Bye." Was Joey's answered on the phone call. He then sighed with a sheepish smile. "Shine went home already. He said something emergency came up..." he said.

"O-okay," you lifelessly answered looking really disappointed. "Then I'll be going then. I'm really tired and all so... thank you very much for everything." You said as you start to walk away.

"W-wait, I'm still not done talking." You heard him as you gloomily stared back at him. "Shine said that he wanted to meet you again sometime this week. He wanted to properly thank you for giving him the plushy."

You blinked. "You're not kidding, aren't you?"

"I'm not so if it's okay with you, can I ask for your number?"
