{Ethan}

Denton's mom was the first to react, rushing up to hug the poor, short kid and crying.

Next was Terrace, laughing and hugging his family.

Before I could turn around, I was hugged by mom and dad, Summer and Winter. The twins had grown so much bigger now, proud seven year olds.

I hugged them as I murmured incoherent things.

Then Sage whimpered.

We stopped, turning around with proud faces as we saw Sage drop to his knees and watch a five month old wolf pup wag his way over to a teary eyed Sage.

He picked up the pup and hugged him to his chest, whimpering like he was a pup and seeing his mother after years later.

Hold up.

Let me explain why his brother is a puppy.

When werewolves are born, their wolves are born being dominant, so they get to shift when they please.

"This is what that riddle meant?" Sage looked at me with an emotional expression.

"Took you long enough." I laughed as I went back to rubbing my scent over my family. I dropped my bags at my feet and picked up Winter and Summer, watching as Winter grabbed my cap and placed it on his head, and Summer grabbed fistfuls of my hair and crying. I smiled over to mom and dad.

Dad was all better, by the smell of it, and mom was happy as ever.

"I missed you guys." I smiled, kissing their cheeks.

"Does this mean it is over?" They looked hopeful, but I had broke it with a shake of my head.

"No, we are only staying for a week. Don't worry though, I'm going to return as soon as possible."

Little did he know, Ethan was speaking the impossible.

I had settled in for the week, and as a family, I was invited to ice cream and a small welcome back party.

I only hugged them and told them that it sounded fine, but I wanted to tell the Alpha first.

Along the way, my tails and ears had peaked out, finally relaxed and at ease.

Stepping into the pack house, I smelt a different, dominant scent along with Alpha Leon's own.

He... found his mate?

I walked up to the office and heard giggling sounds.

Wait.

Wait.

Wait.

Wait.

Alpha Leon. Giggling?

This, I gotta see.

I opened the door and smirked, seeing Leon being pinned underneath a bigger man.

I cat called.

"Can I get popcorn please?" I laughed as Leon shot up and looked like a deer caught in headlights.

The man above him, a blue eyed man with brown hair growled angrily at me.

"Who are you, and what gives you the right to interrupt me?" He was threatening me, his eyes dark as he was completely annoyed.

I laughed.

"Private First Class Patel, Ethan, reporting for duty, sir!" I stood at attention before being tackled by a shirtless Leon.

"Holy shit you are alive!" The man growled angrily as he stormed over and ripped me from Leon's hold.

"MINE." He growled, making me roll my eyes. I looked over to Leon who was a blushing mess, trying to say something, but his mate wouldn't let him.

"I get it, yours. I just want to see my Alpha again, or should I say, Luna?" I wiggled my eyebrows at Leon, making him blush.

I  must have stepped the line, because the man growled and was already throwing a punch at me. I reacted easily, grabbing his fist and smiling still.

"Sorry, but I'm not interested in my Alpha." I dropped his fist, internally laughing at his shocked face.

"You have gotten stronger...." Leon blushed as he was being held like a dog in the taller man's (almost as tall as I was) arms.

"Yep. So, who is my other Alpha?" I tilted my head, looking at the cute couple.

"Uh, this is Joshua Vela. My mate." He reached up and kissed his cheek, relaxing the man slightly. "Josh, this is Ethan Indigo Patel, the boy I told you about."

"Huh. So I'm still a boy. Just you wait. I'll be a man next time I come." I boasted, flicking an ear and wagging my tails.

"Well, he isn't a boy anymore. He stopped my fist. My FIST! Almost no one can do that with out breaking a bone or something." I smiled and thanked Joshua for taking my side.

"Yeah, sorry for interrupting your play time, but I'll be on my way now. Oh, and by the way, Leon, your giggles sound like a teenage girl talking about her crush." I smirked at his red face before I was pushed out.

"Get oUT!" Josh roared, making me only laugh before exiting and going back to my family.

When I entered the house, I was tackled by two bodies.

"Hey guys! Wanna go get that ice cream now?" I watched them nod ecstatically. I picked them up and took them to their room, almost the same as back then. "Go change then. I'll go get mom and dad." They nodded and began to get clothes, Summer changing in the closet and Winter going into the bathroom to change.

Mom and dad were in the living room, hugging me as I entered.

"Where do you want to go?" Dad asked, ruffling my hair fondly.

"I'd like to take that offer you made earlier." I smiled and hugged them, letting go.

Basically, all we did then was join Denton, Sage, and Terrace with their families and went out for ice cream, then a movie, and then a walk in the park.

"How long will you be gone?" Terrace's mother asked him. He bit his lip and shrugged.

"I don't know." There was silence then, as we went to sit under a tree, the younger kids going to the swing set and the playground.

"What's wrong with your hand?" Sage's mother asked Terrace. The platoon burst out laughing, Terrace blushing and trying to get us to quiet down.

I wiped a tear from my eye and looked at Terrace. "Go on. Tell them why you have that bandage."

Sage, Denton and I tried to stop our laughs as Terrace only blushed more and flipped us off.

"So we were training, right. Then a Sergeant made me do push up-"

Sage slapped the back of his head.

"You idiot. The truth." Terrace sighed like he was doing the world a favor by staring at a wall.

"Basically, Denton and I were play fighting and I lost and got mad and accidentally slammed the door on my hand." He looked down at his lap to hide his red blush as there was silence before we all burst laughing.

"He kept crying and said 'how am I supposed to impress the ladies with this?!'. We have two werewolf girls in our platoon." Sage laughed, falling over.

Terrace only growled in embarrassment before playfully attacking Sage, making us laugh harder.

These are the types of memories we made during the week.

But soon, they would be just memories.
