Harry's POV

I made it back to New York shortly after 1 in the morning. I quietly made my way into her apartment and got comfortable on the arm chair in her bedroom. I knew from what Danielle said was that she was in a lot of pain and had drains coming from the incision marks. This slightly frightened me because I didn't want to hurt her so I opted for sleeping in the chair. That way if she needed anything she would not have to get out of bed. At around 5:00 am I heard her moving around and whimpering in pain. I immediately opened my eyes and went over to her.

"What's wrong baby?" I kneeled on her side of the bed.

"Everything hurts. I just need my medicine and I'll be back to sleep in no time." She started to sit up.

"No you lay down. I'll get your medicine for you. That's why I'm here. Just call me nurse Harry." I winked at her. She giggled at my last comment.

"Don't make me laugh. It hurts too much." She frowned at me.

"I'm sorry love. I'll be right back with water." I left the room to grab her a glass of water and her pain medicine. She took the pill and drank the water and soon was falling back asleep.
Once she was asleep I closed my eyes and fell back asleep for a couple more hours.

I woke up the next morning to my phone ringing. I looked down to see my mom's face flash across the screen.

"Hello Mum." I whispered answering the phone. I looked up to see Jennifer still asleep so I made my way into the living room.

"Hello sweetie. Did you make it to New York ok?" She asked.

"I made it here late last night but yeah everything is good." I walked into the kitchen and began making myself a coffee.

"How is she? Is she resting okay?" My mother questioned me.

"She's doing okay. She was asleep when I got here and she's sleeping now but I'm taking her to an appointment later. I know she's in a lot of pain." I was putting the milk away when I noticed something hanging on her fridge. It appeared to be a schedule of appointments and upcoming treatment dates.

"That's good. The poor girl has been through so much." I hear my mother sympathize.

"It sucks because I'm not going to be here for her because I'm busy til the end of the year before the break starts. What if I leave for the rest of tour and press and she gets worse? It's almost impossible with my schedule to come see her as I wish." I share my concerns with my mother.

"She will be fine Harry. She'll beat this and be joining you on the road before you know it." She tries to reassure me. When I found out Jenn had cancer my mother was the first person I turned to. She listened to me as I cried for what seemed like hours on the phone.

"Harry?" I hear Jenn call out from her room.

"Thanks mum but I've got to go. Jenn's awake so I'm going to check on her. Love you." I say to her and she returns the goodbye and I make my way into Jenn's bedroom.

"Are you okay love?" I ask as I sit at the end of her bed. She gives me a weak smile.

"I've been better. I'm in a lot of pain. I don't have breasts anymore. I feel like that's a big part of being a woman. I'm afraid to lose my hair and you'll no longer find me attractive. I'm scared I will die. I don't know what's going to happen Harry and I hate that." She shared her fears with me and began to cry. This made me tear up to.

"I love you with all my heart. Who cares if you have breasts or hair? I still find you the most beautiful woman in the world. You're not going to die. You're stronger than this. You can beat this. Plus I'm more of an ass man anyways." I attempt to joke. She gives me a weak smile as I kiss her forehead. I ended up making her breakfast and as I'm cooking I decide to tweet something out of the norm.

@Harry_Styles: I live for you, I long for you @jennifergeorge

Though I knew they were lyrics from a song I just wrote about her no one else would until our new album would be out. Seconds later Twitter went crazy over the fact that I actually mentioned my girlfriend on social media. I smiled to myself as I brought Jennifer her breakfast.
