Her body leaned against the door, he arms wrapped around her knees and her eyes puffy from crying.
I lost track of where we were anymore. I had one place in mind. Even she wouldn't know.
Ashton was buying a boat under a new name and wearing a disguise. We wouldn't be found. No one would find my baby girl.
MADIS pov
Lukes been driving for five hours now. His hair a mess from running his fingers through it endlessly and now gripping the steering wheel. His knuckles turning white.
I stopped crying and shaking a couple hours ago but I could tell my eyes were puffy and red.
Why would someone want me dead.
I had no enemies.
I wasn't social. Hell I barely even talked to anybody, where could a grudge be held.
I have no aunts or uncles, so no cousins. My brothers dead.
