I raised an eyebrow, "Whi said anything was up? I could just be tired."
"Yes, but you're not are you? There's something bothering you." He said.
I shook my head, "I was just thinking."
"About?"
"Life."
There was a silence that passed between us before he spoke again.
"You think too much. Just relax." He told me softly as he put a hand on my shoulder. Oh if only he knew that his touch only made me more on edge and shot electric sparks all over my body.
"I can't. You make me nervous." I blurted out before I could register what I said.
A smile creeped up to his face, "And why's that?"
I couldn't get an answer out because now his hands were trailing up my neck to the side of my face. He stroked my cheek with his thumb before cupping it. He leaned in close to my ear and I could feel his warm breaths tickling my skin.
"You make me nervous too." He whispered. Even though the music in the club was thumping and the chatter around us was loud, I could hear him clear as day.
I tried to collect myself as I asked him a question where the answer could change everything.
"And why's that?" I whispered back.
He opened his mouth to answer when someone crashed into me shooting pain up my back. I yelped in pain.
"Ow! Watch where you're going you jerk." I snapped and turned around to be face to face with a very very scary looking man. He had piercings everywhere on his face and tattoos covering every inch of skin visible. He had five litres of ink on him at the very least. He also had muscles bubbling up like bubble man. What is bubble man? Does he even exist? Anyway, he had muscles that reminded me of balloons. Ew.
"I'd hit you for talking like that to me but I can't be mad at such a pretty little face." The man said with a sly smile which showed his yellow, decaying teeth. I had a bad, bad feeling about where this was going.
Hunter glared at the man as he took my hand, "Come on, we're going." He said as he led me away from him.
I shivered once he took me over to a secluded area where the couches were, "That was kinda creepy."
He rubbed my shoulder soothingly, "Yeah I know. So many fucking perverts these days." He shook his head irritatedly. "You okay?"
I nodded, "Yeah, yeah I'm totally fine." I answered with a smile. But I did suddenly feel the urge to pee. What can I say? Nervous situations make my bladder loose. "I'm going to go to the bathroom. Be right back."
Hunter eyed me worriedly, "Want me to come?" He asked. I gave him a weird look and his checks reddened noticeably. "Uh, I mean like do you want me to wait outside. I didn't mean go inside. God no. Stop laughing, you weirdo."
I wiped the tears away from my eyes as I let out my last laugh and shook my head. "You're the weirdo. And I'll be fine thanks."
I got up off the couch and walked over to where the bathrooms where. I found the cleanest stall I could find and did my business. When I came out, I checked my reflection in the mirror. Hm, not bad. A little sweaty though.
